So for context… we’ve been together for 13 years. We met when we were still in school and we’ve managed to stay together since then. The thing is, he (28M) always had the upper hand in our relationship. I (26M) always enabled this kind of behavior. He’s erratic and puts emotional expectations on me that he doesn’t put on himself. Still, I loved him. It was a couple years ago when that started changing. He cheated on me at a party when he was out of his mind on drugs. Afterwards we made up. He said that we both knew he didn’t mean it. Since then, I’ve started to realize how manipulative he is and how unhealthy our relationship is. I’m always the one initiating interactions and saying “don’t worry” when he doesn’t answer me. Then last month, he ghosted me. He stopped answering my messages and blocked me everywhere. He made a new account to contact me, and he was pushy and manipulative. I blocked him. Am I overreacting? Should I have to put up with this?
