Very very late potty training

I am at my wits end with my nearly 3.5 girl who’s verbally advanced but cannot tell me when she needs a pee . She has no issues with sitting on the potty and peeing if I tell her to go or wearing undies .. can stay dried at night and wear undies during naps . We have been having multiple accidents because she doesn't tell me and relies on me .. she is also scared of pooing in the potty and still needs a diaper for that .. she has A good diet full of veggies and fibers etc does it mean she is behind

Is this presentation always adhd

My 3 year old is confident, intelligent, polite, has an excellent vocabulary. I'm worried that she doesn't play on her own at home for more than 20/ 30 minutes and sHe always involves me and her dad.She follows 3 step instructions, never has meltdowns and tantrums are once a month and over in 3 minutes , very very organised and excellent memory and also extremely cautious about new environments . We take her to a restaurant and sits for an hour whilst I play with her and she can easily sit for 1.30 hour with me next to playing mixing playing .No issues with changes of routine , very eager to help all the time .. waits in her bed to be picked up for 1 hour playing with teddies . No impulsivity or hyperactivity neither verbal nor physical and always hold hand in public a behaves beautifully but also very anxious and scared about things , she accepts no and limitations but she is also very verbal and social and I was told being very verbal is not a good sign developmentally we are struggling with potty training although she sits and pees in the potty if I ask her to do so. she is very empathetic and likes to follow rules but she is not bothered if kids changes the rules during a a game for example .
i am seeing lots of adult women diagnosed with adhd because they are anxious , overthinking and highly empathetic without meeting the core features of adhd .. so why is it called attention deficit hyperactivity disorder if nearly all women can mask and never had issues with inattentiveness or hyperactivity... my beastie has combo and she experiences adhd paralysis when off her meds and it impairs her functioning.. i get women internalise more so than men but so NT people to some extent as life is a struggle for all of us and we need to learn coping mechanisms regardless of our neurotype .. is the difference still the level of impairment to meet the diagnostic criteria?

Potty training issue

my little girl ( 3 year old ) withholds her poo ( she goes every 2 days ) and still has daily wee accidents if I don’t prompt her to go and having an excellent diet on a daily basis and a great eater ( stools have large but not dry ) , the only thing she doesn’t eat it is avocado otherwise she has daily pears , seeded brown homemade bread , courgettes etc . please tell me you have been through this and it resolved.

I know this is not normal but I have tried everything and waiting listening are 4 years for OT especially if there is nothing else going and there isnt

Highly sensitive toddler

I’m curious whether being highly sensitive can exist on its own without being linked to neurodivergence. My child who’s 3 is very sensitive emotionally and very empathetic , rule follower , apologies for everything she perceives as wrong but doesn't have the frequent meltdowns or tantrums that many people seem to associate with high sensitivity. she is that sort of toddler that 3.5 does what she is told like clean up her mess , tidy up unprompted and goes to bed when asked , we can go to a toy shop and she accepts if we don’t buy anything . she loves social interactions with both her peers and adults . she hates independent playing

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Do you think high sensitivity is more of a personality trait, or do you see it as something else?

Any 3.5 year old similar to mine

any 3.5 year old struggle to play independently ? My little girl prefers us to play with her all sort of imaginative games but doesn’t whine or get upset if we tell her no . She doesn’t go to pre k or nursery and we pretty much take her only to the beach and playgrounds and some playgroups .. is this normal or not

Worried mom

My 3.5 year old girl is confident in language skills , intelligent, polite, has an excellent vocabulary. I'm worried that she doesn't play on her own at home for long and a is a big big talker She follows 3 step instructions, never has meltdowns and tantrums are once a month and over in 3 minutes , very organised and excellent working memory and also extremely cautious about new environment, not a fan of excessive noisy places ( so am I )

No issues with changes of routine , very eager to help all the time .. waits in her bed to be picked up for 1 hour playing with teddies or talking to herlself . No impulsivity and always hold hand in public but also very anxious and scared …we took her at a restaurant and she was terrible , food was too cold or too hot , didn’t want to sit . ( that was our second time the first time she sat for an hour playing with me )

she loves other kids and is eager to play with them at the beach or toddler classes ( she plays independently there ) she loves adults as well and her excitement is great when new people come over and she shows them all her toys etc ... she is not keen on rough and tumble and always waits her turn at the playground but gets frustrated because the other kids are faster than her and don’t respect the rule of turn waiting lol but we taught her that’s the right way to do it ( have we gone too far ? ) . She loves 1/1 play with her peers and tends to follow the other child’s lead and very happily go with the flow .

she is totally trained for wees but poos are very difficult to handle at the moment .

she doesn’t go to pre K yet and i am starting to wonder that she is not stimulated enough . we don’t do classes or go out much ( just the playground and supermarket ) could that be a factor that she is bored with the house and her toys ? if we play with her she can easily do it for an hour . am I wrong in keeping her at home nearly all week apart from the beach , playgroups and playgrounds?

I know all of these might point to adhd but is it possible it is just personality or preference for social interaction rather than a disorder

Is this always autism ?

My daughter is 3 and is fully potty trained for both wees . She’s very good about going to the toilet and doesn’t have accidents But wants to poo in pull ups

I’m a bit concerned about her poos and wondered if anyone else’s child has done this.

When she does a poo, it’s often soft little nuggets rather than one formed stool. Sometimes the poo seems to come out but then kind of hangs at the opening rather than dropping straight into the toilet. It can leave residue around her bottom, and she doesn’t always seem to empty completely and her bottom can get quite red and irritated. I’m wondering if the redness is making her touch the area more, or if the incomplete poos are part of the problem.

Has anyone else’s fully potty-trained child had something similar? Did it turn out to be constipation, stool consistency, incomplete emptying, or something else? she eats a lot of fibres and fruits and veggies but she eats a lot .she does big poos as well

I’m planning to keep an eye on it, but I’d love to hear other parents’ experiences.

they all say it is autism and I am losing my mind as there late literally no other signs and one mum said to me Her daughter only had that issue and was diagnosed based on that

Worried about my 3 year old

My 3 year old is confident, intelligent, polite, has an excellent vocabulary. I'm worried that she doesn't play on his own at home for long maybe 30 minutes and she doesn't like us having conversations she isn't involved in.

She follows 3 step instructions, never has meltdowns and tantrums are once a month and over in 3 minutes , very organized and excellent memory and also extremely cautious about new environment, not a fan of excessive noisy places ( so am I ) . We take her to a restaurant and sits for an hour whilst I play with her and she can easily sit for 1.30 hour with me next to playing mixing playing .

No issues with changes of routine , very eager to help all the time .. waits in her bed to be picked up for 1 hour playing with teddies or talking to herlself . No impulsivity and always hold hand in public but also very anxious and scared of too loud noises like hand dryers . today we took her at a restaurant and she was terrible , food was too cold or too hot , didn’t want to sit .

I know all of these might point to autism or adhd but is it possible it is jsut personality

Losing weight advice

Hi everyone,

I’m a 32F, 169 cm and 52 kg. Even though I know my weight isn’t high, I haven’t been feeling comfortable in my body lately and I don’t really feel like myself. I’ve caught myself thinking about losing weight . Has anyone felt like this before? What actually helped you feel better in your body?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

3 year old doesn’t play independentl

does the inability to play independently or rather a preference for one to one playing at 3 is always a sign of adhd . my toddler is nearly 3.5 no tantrums or meltdowns , very good at organising things and following instructions, can sit for for an. hour and a half playing a bit on her own and a bit with me , asking me questions etc
