I know I post Buster a lot, but he is my baby.

Here on the left is when I adopted him at 10, right was the other day and now 19.5 years old. I feel like I need to cry now 😭

This is my brother’s dog Squirrely!

He is such a good boy. He was dumped on the side of the road and we rescued him ❤️

Last year was one of the hardest years we’ve ever faced. We lost three dogs within the span of a year.
Tonkah and Benny were seniors, so we knew their time with us was limited, but that didn’t make saying goodbye any easier. Our sweet Bella was taken from us far too soon in a dog attack, and losing her so unexpectedly broke our hearts.
They were more than pets—they were family, loyal companions, and some of the greatest loves of our lives. The house feels different without them, but the memories they gave us will stay with us forever.

They may no longer be by our side, but they will always be in our hearts.

This is Tonkah.
He passed away at the beginning of June last year. We rescued him from a local animal shelter, and he turned out to be one of the most amazing dogs I could have ever asked for.
Tonkah was a Saint Bernard mix with the sweetest personality and a heart as big as he was. He brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives.
I just wanted to share a few photos because I always loved taking pictures of him. He was such a beautiful dog, inside and out, and I miss him every day. ❤️

This was the last car ride for Mama Dog before we had to help her cross the rainbow bridge. She passed peacefully on 5/5/2024. We will always remember how amazing she was.

She was found on the side of the road with her puppies. I saw her on Facebook and went to get her immediately! She was one of the best dogs anyone could ask for. She has cancer, we put her through treatment 3 times. It would come back more aggressive and she didn’t have the quality of life anymore.

She will always be in our hearts ❤️

We went to the vet because he was having signs of possible kidney disease. He thankfully only had a UTI.

The vet was very impressed with his blood work results. His kidneys are in perfect condition lol. She said that he is the healthiest almost 20 year old she’s ever seen. He does have a heart murmur but she said it doesn’t look like it bothers home either.

Note: His right side of his mouth is fine. He was abused before I adopted him at 10. It’s a piece of his jaw the previous owner broke and didn’t get treated in time so it just sits there. Vets said since it’s not bothering him there is no reason to put him of the stress of surgery.

Either way, my dog refuses to die and I love that lol.

Buster is apparently extremely healthy for his age. The vet was surprised how great his test look especially the one for his kidneys 🤦🏻‍♀️ Poor guy just has a UTI.

Buster is pretty healthy for his age (19.5 years old).

Recently some signs of possible UTI, kidney disease, etc has shown and we are going to the vet Wednesday. I did request an earlier visit so we will see.

Keep Buster in your thoughts while we figure out what’s going on with him. We went this long without an issue so hopefully it is nothing terrible.

Lately, I’ve been saying he is healthy but something started to concern me last week. I’m a little nervous what the vet is going to tell me. Wish us luck ♥️
