How to appreciate Tokyo??

I've been tokyo twice and soon will go again.

We have done all the tourist things and this time we are going back as we never went Disney Sea.

But my issue is whenever I search for things to do in Tokyo, it's always the same stuff.

Go visit this street
Go eat this Ramen
Go look.at this Shrine
Drink coffee here

And we just don't appreciate it. A street is a street, Ramen is Ramen etc...

In our favourite holidays were ones filled with experiences such as skydiving, seeing shows only available in that area, driving rally cars etc...

So what does Tokyo have that I can't get elsewhere?

Asian mom at Christmas - Where to go?

My 80 year old mom, finds it tiring to walk and doesn't eat anything (she finds it hard to eat, when she does its only Indian food) usually spends Christmas alone. But this year I am able to visit her. She often says she wants to go Wales, Manchester, Bradford etc...

I am only in London for Christmas day. Where can I take her? Wouldn't places like Manchester be worse than London.

I was thinking a day trip to Essex coast, but I worry if going outside is too cold.

Royal Parks in London has the same problem

Character Meeting

I couldn't find this on the app, so does anyone know how to meet a character In Shanghai Disneyland.

I don't mean the long line to meet them in the park, but when they have a bigger interaction with you, like character dining for example.

My wife and I wish to meet Jessie from Toy Story

Finding a Cruise

First timer here.
Why is it so hard to find cruises?

I've tried cruise critic and cruise mapper.

I'm trying to find a Cruise from China to Tokyo.

If it were a flight then it's super easy, but with cruises it so hard to find. Is there a golden website for this that has prices in Chinese RMB?

First time cruise - kids or not?

For my first cruise - what would be recommended?

1: A ship that has many activities but allows children

2: A ship that's adults only but less activities

My partner and I don't drink so things like wine tasting or art gallery or history stuff is pointless for us.

But equally, as much as we would prefer more activities to do (so we don't ger bored) - kids are annoying

If you've done both, what are your thoughts

First timer question - Can I stay for longer?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Despite being an avid flyer in my youth, now I have a dislike of flying

I live in China, Shanghai.
I want to go to Japan and to UK (two different trips)

But my question is. If I find a cruise China to Japan, it usually for a few nights but what I want is the ship.tontake me to Japan, I can do the tours the ship provides but ALSO spend a few nights independently.

I know it's not possible for the ship to wait for me, lol, but can I go on one ship, do my stuff in Tokyo, and return on another?

Sequoia National Park...First time driving

My first time going to any National Park.
I'll be driving down from Vegas, slepp in Three Rivers and the next day is for Sequoia National Park.

But can anyone help in how to navigate the park?
I understand there is a shuttle or is it best to drive my rental car through the park?

What's the best route to see the main things in the park.
I regret not having longer in the park, but my days are fixed.

Do I need to bring food and drink with me? I really am lost with what to do, see and the scale and risk of everything

Big trees nearby??

I had planned to go Vegas to LA and then Sequoia National Park for a night the giant trees.

But I cancelled LA to spend more time in Vegas.
But now I'm thinking is the 6-7 hour drive to Sequoia to see them worth it, or is there some greenery nearer to vegas?

We have done death vally and grand Canyon so parks that are mainly rocks are not needed.

Seattle Trip for Frasier

My wife and I are planning to travel to Seattle, we are only there for 3 days, we would like to some Fraiser based stuff.

Space needle is one, but is there anything else in the city that's Frasier based, I really would love an attraction where you can visit the set or KACL or something.

Do suites have washing machines?

I much prefer self service laundry, I know places like Hilton Vaccations offer washing machines in the room. But do suites in places like MGM Grand or other Mid-strip hotels suites offer self service laundry (either in room or laundry room)

How to tips work with apple pay?

I'm at a restaurant, I want to pay with my card via Apple Pay.

I have to walk to the register
They show me the amount let's say it's $100
I tap to pay the $100
I get a message on my iPhone saying that amount has been taken
I then get given a paper reciept that I write down with a pen the $100 plus $25 for the tip and write the total $125 and walk away.

How does this work as I never tapped my card again

One Entery for One Ride

I have a 4 day, One park per day ticket

Yesterday I went to Hollywood Studios and bought a single entry lightening lane pass for Star Wars Rise of the Resistance

When it was time, the ride was closed. Then when it did open we went inside and while inside it got shut down again

We got a refund for the single pass and it was the end of our day and we went to the hotel.

But I really want to go on the ride. I don't mind paying for the lightenjng lane again but a full park ticket for Hollywood Studios seems nuts. We did everything else in the park.

Is there a cheap way around this?

New York Men - what's your workout routine

I've travelled to many many countries, but one thing I've noticed here in Manhatten is that nearly every guy has a great body on them.

Slim was it, big chest, great arms.

How? Just lift heavy??

Lighting Lane MP Dumb Question

My Disney trip is coming up soon and I can finally buy LL

But when I check on the Disney app the longest standby time was around 40mins (at 12 noon) where the LL time was 7.50pm

So would I be correct in that either

1: I stand in line for that 40mins
2: I walk around the park until 7.50pm

Most of the rides are just 5-30min waits

Laundry Service near WTC?

Is there a self service laundromat near World Trade Center? I don't want to pay my hotel $15 to wash a shirt. And other places I've seen are ones where they wash it for you, but I'm on a tight budget but need something more substantial than the hotel sink.
