Deep thinker : why mainstream feminism/progressivism is practiced in bad faith and has such conflicting morals/language

(PRRI, 2025 data)

Shows that older women (45–64 and 65+) are more likely to identify as conservative than younger women. Young women (18–29) are the most liberal group.

https://prri.org/spotlight/american-women-are-not-politically-monolithic/

A reminder, most young women who claim they are progressive aren't progressives in the slightest, they are secretly conservative, In their 20s they talk about men being useless and they value independence so much and talk about feminism all the time but as soon as they turn 30 they will say "where have all the good men gone?" "What happened to masculinity?" Why aren't men being providers?" "Men are sissies nowadays they don't wanna man up and settle down and have kids" "I'm a Christian now in my 30s and I'm a born again virgin because God forgave me"

They want to be independent and progressive UNTIL bills come into play, UNTIL a retirement plan comes into play, UNTIL age starts knocking, then all of the sudden they want us men to act manly and financially save them and take care of them

Remember, almost half of white women in the US voted for trump

Truth nuke:

A lot of people (both men and women) don’t actually build their beliefs from consistent morals. They start with what benefits them, what protects their ego, what gives them status, what gives them safety, or what gets them sympathy, and then they wrap it in moral language afterward, so someone might say:

That can look like:

A woman saying "gender roles are outdated" when she wants independence, but then saying "men need to be providers" when dating.

A man saying "women should be traditional" while refusing to be a traditional protector/provider himself.

A progressive person supporting gender nonconformity in theory, but mocking feminine men or non-provider men in practice.

“Be yourself” until your self expression makes them uncomfortable.

I noticed that many people are performative progressives

they act like they are inclusive and all about equality but as soon as a man becomes a femboy or acts any other way other than his traditional way he is called gay, undeserving of women, or a faliure of a man, I'm a black femboy and get this a LOT, even in leftist spaces so many men assume I'm down to smash and they make rape threats and become very homophobic and so many women want me to be their gay best friend while also being homophobic when I want to date them instead, but they always reject me because they want a 6 foot, 6 figure muscular dude.

And before anyone says "well women are attracted to masculinity so of course they won't like you" but men have no problem dating tomboys and queer women have no problem dating feminine or masculine women
