1. Always solo Q. Lone wolves are the alphas of the pack (a pack of 1) so it makes you stronger.

2. Don’t use your mic to communicate. ONLY use it once you’re already dead to criticize your teammates. Using your mic only adds to the confusion of the game.

3. At the first sign of danger, split up and fight different teams. If you all shoot the same team at the same time, you can’t ALL have the kills. Fighting three different teams allows you to get a maximum of 9 kills (provided you each 1v3 the enemy teams)

4. Don’t saddle your team with too much information. Instead of pinging that there’s an enemy team behind you, just run past your teammates and let them draw their attention. Don’t ping where you’re going next, just do it.

5. You should always be in a different POI than your teammates. Covering more ground is more important that supporting your team. The best way to support them is to abandon them entirely.

6. This one is specifically for duos. Do NOT ever tell your random third where you are going. They’re likely a moron and you and your friend just get unlucky every game with bad teammates. Probably why they don’t have any friends to begin with. Just go with your duo partner while your third is looting and let them die, or better yet, die before they can get there to help.

7. If one of your teammates gets knocked, don’t hold an angle while your other teammate revives. I’m sure they can handle it on their own and after all, you don’t wanna get shot do you?

8. Always challenge teams who are in a better position than you are. What are you, a coward? Push right up that hill and show them who’s boss.

9. Blame your teammates for any failure. You are the perfect player and can’t make mistakes, so if you lose, logically, it’s someone else’s fault.

10. Whenever possible, revive your teammates far from any loot and abandon them as soon as you can. The drop shop draws a lot of attention and you don’t wanna stick around while your newborn teammates get killed. It’s depressing to watch that. Bonus points if you can do it within line of sight of the same team that just killed them.

Essentially, to show that I've written every word myself, I want to be able to track document changes over time in Word.

Currently, my caveman way of doing that is completely copying my drafts to a master history folder, regardless of whether I've touched that chapter or not.

Apparently Google Docs can do something like that, but I like to use Word. Is there a way to automate it? Meaning, when I open the document on the daily, I can just write and when I save it it can track what I've changed?

I just want a scrappy fight. Trade some shots and a knock, maybe reset, play a knockdown shield, barely survive.

But against cheaters and Mach 10 Axles, it almost never happens. A teammate (or myself) gets lasered at 100 meters by a 3x Havoc, I hear the Axle Q go off and with the audio issues, I have no idea where they’re even coming from until it’s too late. Sliding with a no-recoil Devotion, they turn me into Swiss cheese, sometimes before I can even shoot back.

I’ve been playing since S1, and always get to Diamond 1 whole solo-queuing. The one season that I actually had a premade team I got to Masters. To be honest, I’m not a competitive Masters player. I’m just not good enough to climb much higher than 16k RP. But this ranked season has been hell.

And I knew nerfs were coming, but they’re so disappointing. Axle’s real issue isn’t her ult, though it’s slightly OP, it’s her insane speed, sliding control and her accuracy. I’ve had Axles slide at me zigzagging and I can’t do anything about it. There’s no fear. She reminds me of Horizon before her nerf. A legit get-out-of-jail-free card of a tactical. The difference being, her team couldn’t get the same accuracy bonus, so at least it was only 1 person. They need to slow Axle down, just a little, and decrease her accuracy, just a little.

And now for the second problem; Valkyrie. Retreat is no longer an option in Apex. Between jump towers and her Ult, they WILL find and kill you, even if you have a 60 second head start. Her blue perk is truly the strongest in the game. No recon legend comes close. And lore wise, yeah, missiles in the air make sense. But balance wise, it’s unfair.

The occasional game where there’s no cheaters, I at least have a little bit of fun. But lately, it’s just run and hide and try for placement. I can’t wait for the solo-q only update (if it even happens). Ranked is my favorite to play and I miss having fun.

I let it auto update and went to lunch. When I turned it on it either goes to a black screen, lets me login and then goes to a black screen, or asks for my BitLocker recovery key.

I’ve never set that up. Idk what is happening but I’m worried my laptop is toast.

I talked to my marketing agent and changed most of the things she mentioned but I still can’t get anyone to buy my book. I haven’t had a sale in nearly a week.

It’s as cheap as I can make it without going negative, and I rewrote both the subtitle and the description to be more drawing. I have 4.6 stars but only 9 reviews, mostly from ARC readers.

Should I just start pursuing social media influencers to read my book and do reviews? I have two who are currently reading and planning to do videos.

I’d get if my sales were just BAD, but they’re nonexistent. Idk what to even change because nothing is working at all. I’m working on making A+ content for my Amazon page, I just don’t know what to put.

I’m also getting a lot of traffic per my Amazon attribution tags. More than 200 details visits in the last two days. But no purchases.

I'm trying to run ads through Meta Business Suite. But I can't link my existing business profile that I specifically setup solely for my business. Now I'm reading that apparently it isn't a business page and is just a normal page, but I have no idea how to check that. The answers I get from Google are very vague.

When I put in the URL for my "business page" into the Meta Business Suite, nothing comes up. I'm assuming that's because it's not actually a business page. But there's no way for me to tell.

I'd been running ads on my IG business page, and I had selected Facebook placements as an option but they never ran them. My marketing agent told me that's because my FB page isn't linked.

I read that I'm supposed to use my personal Facebook to make a business page. But I have a separate FB and IG personal page that are linked and I don't want my business page linked to my personal.

Can I just make a business page through my "not business" FB profile?

Something with the least amount of extras. I'm not a tech guy, I don't like AI. I just want a laptop that works and doesn't need me to jump through hoops to fix it.

My old laptop is finally giving out and I'm too uninformed to properly fix it.

I want to get a new laptop but one of my biggest issues has been extra, unnecessary programs that I don't use eating up my memory and CPU. I don't recognize over half the processes at any given time.

On Goodreads, my book has three separate listings for each edition. To combine them I need a Goodreads Author Profile.

Every time I apply I am denied because they require an author's website, but I don't have one. I also published the eBook through KDP and it says if I do that I don't need an author's website.

Apparently the fix to this is to appeal to support which I did, and they also told me I need an author's website.

Has anyone gotten into the program without a website? If so, how?

Before you ask why I don't have a website, I just don't have one. I've spent a ton of money on this process and paying for a website isn't at the top of my to-do list.

I have the US, UK, Australia and Canada selected for my audience. The problem is, it seems my ad is ONLY showing in the UK and Canada.

I just checked to see if any authorizations were needed, and the only one I hadn't done was an ID verification, which I just did. I have NO alerts that I'm missing any forms of authorizations.

What’s a good price to attract customers without seeming cheap/low quality?

I'm having a bit of a crisis. I have 100 ARCs out, and they all opted-in to emails with BookFunnel. But the problem is, the email I sent to them either went to spam or undelivered completely.

I don't know what to do or how to contact them. I have a few emails to use, and I could use MailerLite but idk how to. I need to remind them about their reviews and see them so I can make marketing ads, but I have no way to contact them.

I have a few older email addresses I could use, but all the advice from the tech Reddits are giving me a lot of technical jargon I don't understand and can't perform. I'm a mechanic and an author, not an IT worker. This stuff is so beyond my skills to fix.

I can’t email them. I tried to, using a CSV file from the opt in and imported the contacts to my new outlook email. Straight to their spam folder. Paid $100 and everything for the subscription.

Did some research and apparently you need your own domain email to not go to spam. I made a Microsoft business account or something and paid for that and now I have my own domain email. Sent an email from it, and straight to spam.

I’m at a loss, idk what to do, I have to contact 100 people asap and I can’t get through. I have another Hotmail address which is very old I was going to use by sending one email at a time but I don’t know if that’ll make a difference.

I posted about my own personal experience with protecting myself against AI usage accusations. My post got a lot of traction, but the most concerning thing is how many authors say they use this PaperWhite AI to protect themselves.

Apparently, it rewrites AI content to make it sound more human. It’s really ironic that people who don’t want to be accused of using AI are using AI to protect themselves.

I’m honestly flabbergasted and have no idea how to respond. Four people have commented it so far and it’s just… like what are we doing here? Really? Using AI to de-AI your already NON-AI writing?

I have a business account that I cannot access the Meta Business Suite for because of (what I assume is) bad programming.

I have two separate IG and Facebook accounts with different logins and emails. But for some reason, regardless of which email I use when I log into the Business Suite, it logs into my personal Facebook. What's really confusing is that when using my Gmail account login, it sends the confirmation code to my Hotmail account.

I've never opted for these accounts to be linked (knowingly). In fact, I DON'T want my personal and business accounts linked. I'm sure there's theoretically a way to unlink them but I've tried to do it before and got nowhere.

Anyways, the whole reason I'm trying to get into the business suite is to manage an Instagram Ad. I guess I didn't sign the non-discrimination policy so I can't run ads. I don't believe that, as I've already run a bunch of ads, but the rejection I got says that I didn't follow their Discrimination Policy. What's weird is now the Ad is actually running, but VERY poorly, almost like it isn't running at all. I have enough funds, and the payment method is verified (the "meta support" person told me that my payment method isn't verified and that's why I'm having issues. There's nothing to indicate that, and I have funds in the IG Ad manager right now. I've already run ads with that payment method. Now before you ask "why don't you just do what they say", I CAN'T because when I try the link he sent to fix it, and I log in, I log into THE WRONG ACCOUNT)

So yeah, idk what to do at this point. Support is telling me my payment is messed up, their emails say that I didn't follow their discrimination policy (and the Google machine says I need to sign the document to fix it) but the Ad is somehow still running. Kind of. I'm afraid that too much tampering with my own account will end up with an AI flagging it as nefarious activities and banning it and I can't afford for that to happen right now.

This is a rant. Mods, I worked really hard on this and my therapist says that I need to let it out sometimes so you have to leave this up, please and thanks.

I called and they confirmed Rosie's dosage but didn't comment when I asked about the other two. I can't imagine why the dosage would be twice as much for Rosie. Her symptoms aren't any worse than the others.

My dog was diagnosed with lepto last week. The issue is, he used to have a bad problem with pissing in the house. I'd had contact with his urine 2-3 times a week for YEARS.

In 2020 I started having joint issues. When it started, it was my calves and Achilles, for no apparent reason. I could hardly walk for weeks, but I was given a clean bill of health by my doctor. Since then I've been seen for my hands and forearms, with similar pain, and still no identifiable cause.

I've also been aware of personality changes within myself, mostly irritation. I've always had a bit of a temper but in recent years it's become much worse. I had a few bouts of extreme OCD where I was terrified of bugs crawling into my ears and nightmares every night.

I'm seeing my PCM this week to ask if I should be tested, but if I have had it for years (which I think is likely if I DO have it since I believe my dog was exposed many years back) then will it even show up in blood or urine?
