I asked a question on Facebook and it took them 2 days to response. I responded an hour later and now i'm allready waiting another 24 hours for a reply. What the brie? How am i to have a conversation via chat with KLM?

Ik heb bij een bekende boekingsite een reservering gemaakt voor een hotel in Amerika. Dit heb ik geboekt met de voorwaarde dat ik kan annuleren tot 1 dag van te voren. Twee weken later heb ik via de zelfde boekingsite de datum gewijzigd naar 1 dag eerder. Hier stond verder niet bij dat de voorwaarde veranderde. Ik kreeg alleen een nieuwe prijs te zien, en ben akkoord gegaan. Nu blijkt opeens dat de boeking niet meer annuleerbaar is en dat de gewijzigde boeking de voorwaarde heeft aangepast. Ik heb contact opgenomen met de boekingsite en die zien in dat dit niet klopt en hebben een verzoek gedaan bij het hotel in Amerika om de boekingsvoorwaarde terug aan te passen, of om de boeking te annuleren zodat ik opnieuw kan boeken. Het hotel weigert daarin echter alle medewerking. De boekingsite zegt nu ‘helaas, we hebben het geprobleerd’. Welke stappen kan ik nu nog ondernemen? Mijn enige wens is dat ik de boeking kan aanpassen en een dag eerder kan uitchecken, en ik gewoon de oude voorwaarde heb dat ik kan annuleren mocht de reis niet door gaan.

I read on different places that it is 12 hours. But I also read multiple people state that they had to recheck it with way less hours for a layover. What is the general exprience here?
We like to book a flight with a layover in JFK between 12:00PM (noon) and 9:40PM. Will we be able to check in the luggage from Denver directly to Amsterdam?

We are flying from Denver to Amsterdam with a layover. Now I just discoverd that we can take a flight early morning and flyout late in the evening and have like a half day in a overlay city.
Maybe even stay one extra night there?

But we don't want to have our hold luggage during the layover. What is the maximum time between flights Delta still let you label tru hold luggage without having to pick it up?

We love the American sports vibes. We have been to a couple of basebal games. But we would like to see other sports as well. Problem is, that we are in and around SF end may, and what I understand that is peak basebal season, but not much else. But maybe I miss somethings. Are there any sports games, or maybe other events around that time we could visit? I understand that maybe the exact dates are not available yet. We will be in SF from may 25 till may 30 2027.

II have 33,9k miles. But when I try to use them I only get 88,50 euro for 19.600 miles. What is up with that?

We will be visiting the US next year from May 25, 2027, starting in San Francisco and ending on July 6, 2027, in Denver. I am looking for rental cars, and normally, when we visit the US, we rent from Alamo.

I am traveling with my brother, and now, when we try to book with Alamo for the first time, we see an additional driver fee of $700+. We have never had that before.

My question is: Is there a way to get the additional driver fee waived without marrying my brother? /s

Are there any other trustworthy rental companies that might be cheaper?

We have always been very happy with Alamo, but this extra cost was quite unexpected.

I want to track a flight from AMS to SF, and return from DEN to AMS. But on Google flights and Skyscanner I can't find an option to track the price. Am I blind? Is there a way to track it? I could do them both seperate but it would be a lot easier to see the total price change.

I booked a couple nights for 2027 few weeks back and I paid 109 dollars per night. Now I wanted to book another night after the date we booked and its 191 doller a night? Is the price changed? Or did I do something wrong here? For a moment I thought I accedently clicked Curry camp!

Ik weet dat er Amare is en dat er soms concerten worden gehouden in de Grote Kerk. Maar zijn er nog andere locaties waar klassieke muziekconcerten worden georganiseerd? Misschien in een wat kleinere setting?

Ik heb bij de online winkel van een grote fietsenmaker een e-bike besteld. Hier heb ik 2 bevestigingsmail van gehad, en dat er contact wordt opgenomen over wanneer ze deze kunnen leveren. Nu krijg ik zojuist een mail dat de fiets niet meer leverbaar is en ook niet besteld kan worden. Als alternatief komen ze met een andere fiets, die volgens hun zelfs iets beter is. Nou vervelend maar prima denk ik.. Lees ik verder, verwachten ze ook nog eens dat ik de meerprijs ga betalen.

Staan ze hierin in hun recht? Moeten zij niet gewoon de fiets leveren die ik besteld heb? Voor de prijs die ik betaald heb? Waar heb ik eventueel recht op?

In September we will visit Isle of Skyle for 3 nights. To save costs we will bring our tent and stay at Portee campsite (https://www.portreecampsite.co.uk/). My question is, is it worth going to a campside? Or is wild camping an option. We have never done that before. Also, I know there will be lot of wind. Will a standard tent be enough to stay on the ground if the winds picks up?

Mocht iemand nog de bus willen nemen vanavond. Vergeet het maar. Wat zou het technisch mankement kunnen zijn dat ze alles eruit gooien? Of zou er wat anders aan de hand zijn?

Weet iemand een betrouwbaar bedrijf in de regio waar ik een nieuwe afstandsbediening voor mijn Citroën c1 kan laten maken? Ik heb alleen de reserve sleutel nog in mijn bezit.

Ik ben helaas mijn (citroen c1) autosleutel kwijt. Nu heb ik nog wel de reservesleutel maar ik wil graag een extra ook weer met afstand bediening.

Nu kom ik online prijzen van 250+ tegen bij garages maar ook 25 euro bij webshops. Echter moet je daar nog iets zelf programmeren? Kan iemand mij uitleggen hoe dit precies werkt? En hoe ik dit zelf zou het goedkoopst zou kunnen doen?

Vraag voor de mensen die in de UK en/of specifieker Schotland hebben gereden; Wat is jullie ervaring? Is het goed te doen om met een eigen auto links te rijden? Of is het makkelijker om een huurauto te huren met het stuur aan de rechter kant?
Ik kan van beide namelijk voor- en nadelen bedenken. Ik ben benieuwd hoe andere dit ervaren hebben?

I visited the Tartan Weaving Mill and Exhibition, but it already feels a bit geared toward visitors based on its location. I’ve also seen a few shops along the Royal Mile, though I’m not sure how good they are.

I’m looking to buy one or two high-quality sweaters that will last for years. Something a step up from M&S. Do you have any recommendations for good stores?
