Year of the Horse fades?

Sup everyone. Wondering if anyone here has fade updates to year of the horse! Giving mine their first wash tomorrow, although I never really wore them that hard. I don’t expect them to have crazy fades because they’re only 12.5 ounces, but I’m looking forward to seeing how they look. I will miss the starchy feel on the outside though!

Could crotch folding have anything to do with a thicker material?

I have these samurai jeans that are 15 ounces, which I know isn’t crazy heavy. But they still are pretty stiff and not broken in. I get those lines around my crotch. The waist fits well but I don’t think I can pull these down any further without my pubic region starting to show, lol. It’s irritating because I can tell these are going to be good faders, and they would look amazing without that one issue

Most recommendations I see about this issue are that they are pulled up too high for the rise, but I’ve got these as low as I can get them.

This hidden mechanic has helped me immensely

Last week I made a post asking if I was leaving wins on the table by avoiding question mark events. I always tried to prioritize combats. What I learned wasn’t about events but about a mechanic the game doesn’t tell you.

If you’re struggling, make sure you know about easy pool and hard pool fights. I had no idea. Now I’m consistently getting to act 3 (although I still can’t beat both bosses on A10 yet). This made such a huge difference, and it also teaches you how to path better, which also affects which starting ancient relic you may choose.

Definitely make sure you know about this!!! Thanks to this sub, my gameplay has improved so much.

The first 3 fights of act 1 and the first 2 fights of act 2/3 are taken from an easy pool of enemies. You can usually win these without losing much HP.

After that, combats pull from a harder pool of enemies. These will usually drain more HP, causing you to rest at bonfires instead of upgrading cards.

Am I leaving wins on the table by avoiding the ? events?

All I shoot for is combat, elites, shops, and bonfires. So I guess basically everything but events. I know some of them are good and some of them are bad, but should I prioritize them a little more?

For what it’s worth, I’ve been stuck on Ascension 10 for well over 100 runs

The Flat Head DB-004

Outfit wasn’t as good as I thought it was, looking at the pics, but the pants are so comfy. Easily the comfiest pair I have. Got them from Redcast Heritage. Only complaint is the front pockets are RIDICULOUSLY shallow.

What do you think of a man who offers a handshake?

A book I own says a gentleman never offers his hand to a lady first because it is her prerogative who she shakes hands with. Too old school?

Running a 67% compliment rate on these 😂

I’ve worn these crimson cap toes three times, and two of those times I was complimented by a stranger on my boots!

Can you be overdressed?

I was reading a book a long time ago (forgot which) talking about men’s fashion and being a gentleman. At one point, it said it’s impossible to be overdressed but it’s very easy to be underdressed.

What’s your take on that?

I used to believe that but I don’t anymore. I enjoy being the best dressed in my group of people, but I don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb. On the flipside though, unfortunately I think you stand out if you dress decent at all these days. My neighbor asked me where I was going dressed up all fancy when I was just wearing jeans, boots, and a plain white T-shirt.

What weight do you think never becomes comfortable?

Hi all. I ordered my first pair of heavyweight jeans yesterday (22 oz). I’m expecting them to be uncomfortable at first, but I’ve heard heavy jeans become “super comfy” once they conform to your body and how you move.

In your opinion, what weight never becomes comfortable?

This pic raises a question

Did this person really have a pair of brass knuckles perfectly situated in their back pocket for the year it likely took to get this fade? I’ve also seen outlines of fidget spinners, and it seems like every person who wears this type of denim also dips and keeps a can in their back pocket. Doesn’t that lead to issues? Or is it just something we do for the fades?

Looks cool and I just ordered my first pair of heavy denim (22 oz), but I feel like this would fuck up your spine.
