Dawn is the most protagonist coded out of any female companion, this was her dream before she even had a Pokemon so she's basically going to be the Ash and she's going to win. You can hate me for it I'll die on this hill

I put Serena here purely for esthetics, I was gonna put Drew or Robert but she fits the vibes way better, I was also considering Aria she seems like she's done a contest or two

When Ash and him fell into Bewilder Forest he actually warned Ash and Turtwig about the Stantler that mess with people's heads, when Ash and Turtwig got caught he actually freed them and when Ursaring was chasing the crew he actually warned them to move out the way instead of just attacking

Since Incineroar got good treatment in Alola, and Greninja in Kalos, I think Grokey would fully evolve into Rillabloom(even though I preferred Scorbunny) would be his main if he had a second Starter it would be Scorbunny which would evolve up to Raboot

My Pick is Incineroar

For me it's either Volt Tackle or Electro Web

Volt Tackle was a great finisher but Electro Web allowed for more dynamic battling

Now of course you could just say Misty gets Totodile which fits her water motif but it's not a hard rule based on the three pokemon's personalities who gets who

I'd say, Ash gets Totodile and it will evolve into Feraligator, I did this because Charizard is the Gen 1 ace, Sceptile is the Gen 3 Ace to balance the scales gen 2's ace should be the water Pokemon. That's my Logic

Brock will get Chikorita we'll keep it's crush aspect and it will add to the gag when Brock goes to a girl it gets jealous and tackles him or something. It evolves into Bayleef maybe Meganium after Brock leaves

And Misty gets Cyndaquil, I know very ironic but even type specialists catch other types of pokemon. I can also see her fiery personality bringing out the shy Cyndaquil out of it's shell. It would evolve into Quilava

Honestly I liked when the series divided the starters amongst the Main Characters instead of giving Ash all or two of them

Dawn was presented as basically the co-protagonist of DP basically a female Ash, passionate, driven a bit in over her head and naive about how hard her dream would be to achieve. But it was endearing. She got tons of focus great rivals and we had many episodes dedicated to her actually practicing and training

Misty and Iris had vague dreams of being Water and Dragon Masters like Ash's Pokemon Master but unlike Ash but they weren't really doing anything to pursue that goal, Iris got a great comeback later being Champion of Unova but in Black and White series she was pretty much just hanging around

May, Serena and Chloe are the poster children for this. I get it not everyone has a goal immediately but this only ever happens to the girls every guy pretty much has their stuff figured out and is on some kind of road to fulfill that dream. And it just got worse over time

May picked up her interest for contests in EP 13 of Advanced before Ash even got his first badge and her first official contest was in EP 35 after Ash's second badge. That's good and she was even given decent rivals and was allowed to have a full team but she lacked actual focus episodes for her training

Serena did nothing until she found out about showcases(Which are just diet contests and don't require nearly as much work for the staff) after 40 episodes before the 3rd Gym badge and only competed after 62 episodes after the 4th Badge. That's almost a 1/3 of the XY Anime. Only allowed to catch 2 pokemon and we rarely if ever saw her practice

And Chloe is the worst of all, it took her 130+ episodes just to be a researcher we didn't need that much time with her figuring out what to do. If she was exploring all the jobs in the pokemon world that would be one thing but half the time it was just eevelution related stuff which didn't need that much focus

The Alola girls weren't travel companions so I'm way more forgiving about how they handled their goals and even then their stories were all really good

Either is possible really but would Azmuth build such a thing. I'd say yes cause the universe would need its greatest hero in Millennia or Azmuth respects the circle or life

Genuinely both are possible and there's a solid argument for both. I'm in the yes camp

He held his own against Ash's Championship team just before they competed in the tournament. Paul seems to be done with big tournaments now but if he competed in another League I think he honestly could become a champion

I don't see this talked about in the fandom at all. Like Max was a full grown adult when he and Xylene had that kiss, and he was a full fledged Plumber so reason to believe he had his wife and kids waiting at home.

Now the Meta answer is Xylene was created before Verdona and the UAF writers probably forgot about Xylene completely but I'd like to see some canon explanations
