Michael Sarrazin and Peter Fonda.
They don’t look terribly alike, but they remind me of one another. In the ‘70s, I used to sometimes get confused about who was who. But I was young then.

He’s talking about he’s “in love” with Porsha. Ninja please.
No man who’s in love with you is going to wait to say it when he’s in front of your friends and on camera, TV cameras no less.
I think Porsha saw straight through his fake, performative ass.
My favorite red carpet look was Nicole Kidman at the Oscars in a dress from John Galliano’s spring/summer 1997 haute couture collection for Christian Dior.
The only thing I didn’t care for was the side split. I would have also given the dress a bit of a train. Aside from that, I thought it was magnificent.

From the later 1990s through early 2000s you could scarcely buy a dress or gown that didn’t come with a wrap. They really cheapened a dress and took away from its design. There was something about them that wasn’t fashionable to me. I was so relieved when they finally went out of style.

From the late 90s through the early 2000s, damn near every decent, semi-formal, or formal gown or dress came with a wrap thingy. They were everywhere and a real distraction. I hated them. I thought they instantly cheapened every dress they were paired with. I couldn’t wait for them to go out of style.
They had a name, I just can’t remember what it was (it wasn’t Hammer Pants).
They were popular in the late 80s and early 90s. They weren’t “Hammer pants”, but they did have a nickname. Does anyone remember what it was?
This man stringing this woman along for six years is triggering. His family dynamic is steeped in hundreds of years tradition. They will never accept Alex and he knows this. It’s giving placeholder.
After Alex said, “I just want to feel accepted, babe”, Jaleb literally replied with, “I gotta accept you first before they do . . . I can’t be 50-50 with you and then . . . “ Excuse me?? After six years you’re 50-50?? I don’t understand. Do people just shut their brains and ears off when people say things they’d rather not hear or what?
I’m still less than halfway through the first episode but the cruelty and toxicity of some of the guys and the abject denial and capacity to tolerate bullshit in the women is jarring and upsetting. I’m not sure I’ll continue.
I’m less than halfway through the first episode and Blake is telling Hayley “I’ve got a Porsche 911 . . . but what’s it like to be in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini?”
How insulting is that? Is she not listening or what? Does this MF not realize he’s a ‘73 Pinto? Likening her to a car and comparing her to more expensive models is diabolical.
Couldn’t be me. I’d be like, “Check this out. I’m going to drive myself back to the dealership. Go buy, lease, or test drive that Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, or Lotus because I’m out.”
This is the first AND LAST time I’m flying Frontier.
I go up to the ticket counter and the lady says, “I’m not logged in yet.” Then why are you standing there at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon staring at me as if you’re ready to assist me with no “next window please” sign or anything? The lady who was logged in is eating Doritos. No smile, no “Good afternoon.”, no nada. Just crunching, tapping, and curtness.
I don’t even want to talk about how my return flight was cancelled due to “pilot fatigue” AFTER everyone had finally boarded after a two-hour delay. Had he or she fallen asleep in the cabin? I was almost in tears.
Frontier booked me another flight and paid for a halfway decent room for me to stay in, but my checkout and flight times were almost seven hours apart.
Leaving Las Vegas was supremely difficult to say the least. But I thank GOD and am grateful through it all.
I’m NEVER flying Frontier AGAIN.
I realize the intended format of the ONE54 podcast is to tell and hear the stories and opinions of native Africans who live in Africa, the U.S., and throughout the diaspora. Every guest I’ve seen in the show thus far was either born in Africa or has at least one parent who was.
However, given the somewhat tense relationship between Africans and African Americans aka Foundational Black Americans, how do you feel about this? For all intents and purposes, it appears to me that African Americans are not invited to the ONE54 cookout. How are we then to bridge the proverbial gap?
We’ve already had one incident where a British African celebrity, who’s portrayed more than one African American historical figure on both the big and small screens, made what many feel was a mockery of the Southern Black American accent by dubbing it “subservient” while neither host refuted his remarks. Ironically, this same African actor portrayed Martin Luther King Jr. in a major motion picture, a man who is arguably our most beloved African-American icon, and who happened to himself be from the American South.
Should Foundational African Americans who could expound on the subject be invited on the show to discuss African and African American issues and the relationship between the Motherland and the diaspora at large? Or should we, not being native to Africa, stay in our lane?

I love Levar, but what is happening? He claims his now-straight hair is all natural. He says he isn’t now and hasn’t been ill, nor has he had chemotherapy treatments.
I understand some people’s hair texture and curl pattern changes as their hair turns white, but I have never seen anything like this in my life.
Furthermore, his hair was the same as always when it turned grey and now it’s grey and straight. It’s not like his grey hair grew in that way. Make it make sense.
think he said ‘F—- it! I’m going to be the Puerto Rican I’ve always wanted to be, dammit!’ and started getting relaxers at a high-end salon.
What do you think? 🤔
And she’s childish, defensive, and annoying.
Siding with K. Michelle tells me everything I need to know.

It’s nice to see her venturing off into new territory, but her acting is HORRENDOUS.
