Since Homecoming people have been talking about Ned becoming the Hobgoblin like in the comics. Except in the comics Ned wasn’t the Hobgoblin. He was framed. The real Hobgoblin was Fashion Designer Roderick Kingsley. I don’t think the CEO has it in him to be a super villain. He’s too chill.

The only way I can see it happening is if they just rip off Willem Dafoe Goblin and have Ned get the goblin serum + split personality. I highly doubt that will happen since Kevin Feige notoriously hates doing stuff that’s already been done before.

I do believe the MCU will bring in Roderick Kingsley but he won’t be the Hobgoblin. Just a red herring to mess with comic fans. The Hobgoblin will be Peter Parker’s teacher, Mr Harrington.

In Incredible Hulk it’s shown that Harrington was a student at the extremely prestigious Cutler University. So he’d be smart enough to make his own tech. His wife faked her death during the snap and left him. Motivation for a future breakdown. It’s possible that at some point after No Way Home he just snapped and became an unhinged supervillain. Think Michael Douglas in “Falling Down”.

It would also emulate the feeling of the Green/Hobgoblin mystery in the comics. The idea that someone Peter knows is the titular villain. In this case it’s someone that would shock both Comic fans and MCU fans.

His whole thing is being the youngest so just have him be played by an actual child. It would be way more interesting than “young white guy number #4, this one has ice powers and he quips!!!”

Just imagine the visual of Jean Grey walking into the mansion and seeing a little kid with a snowball for a head running around.

He can grow into the role over time. Maybe do an “Amazing Friends” thing with MCU Miles Morales and MCU firestar.

I know power rangers has 30 seasons. I just want to see them reach 1000 episodes before peacing out. They were so close.

It’s not even that risky. Just make it for the budget of a sitcom, put some toys on the shelves and voila, you have an actual revenue stream.

It would definitely be more profitable than the re ignition line.

Those mmpr toys are too cheaply made for adult collectors and kids don’t want toys from an ancient looking tv show. You might as well try selling them Munsters action figures.

It took Reeves six years to make the first one and six years to make this one. If he were to make a part three it would probably come out in 2034, years after brave and the bold.

Even your friendly neighborhood Spider Man got one. It can’t be for lack of interest as the original X-men TAS was extremely popular in Japan even getting a full manga adaptation.

You could do one in college,one in high school, one where he’s married, one with miles, one where he’s a teacher, etc. It’d be a cool way to cover his entire history while still having high school adventures to keep the Disney tv overlords satisfied.
