Question about the 2026 SDCC Maximum Collection

Does this specific version come with a manual? Does your copy have a manual, or if you're keeping it sealed, can you see one inside using a flashlight on the side and looking through the other side?

I cannot find unboxing or info on this. I know the later version that we'll get comes with a foil cover, stickers, and a manual. But I am talking about the 2026 SDCC variant version.

Thanks to anyone helping with this.

EDIT: Grammar check

UPDATE: I got a response directly from Limited Run Support. And thank you to everyone who contributed.

"Thank you for contacting Limited Run Games!

While the copies of Marvel Maximum available for pre-order through our store do include a manual, I am afraid taht, after consulting with the associated teams, the convention-exclusive copies did not.  This is intentional, since no manuals were manufactured for this release.

We apologize for any confusion or worry that this has caused!

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know.  Otherwise, I hope you have a great day!

I debated far too long on this but...

I ultimately made the right choice. I'll always prefer my games to actually be on cartridge. I can always wait for a digital sale on the S2 version if the performance bothers me, but I grew up in the 80s and 90s, I can handle 30 FPS just fine :)

Took almost a year to make a fully scripted series in DayZ with a bunch of friends. Here's the trailer. I hope you enjoy it... though my low self-esteem keeps telling me it probably sucks. 😂

Finally got the entire Reign/Return gang together! As a bonus, here are a few extra shots of my collection.

I recently downsized my Superman collection quite a bit and decided to keep only what I truly love the most: the Death, Reign, and Return of Superman era (my favorite), along with McFarlane's live-action movie figures and a few other pieces I really enjoy. The collection used to be about twice this size and was filled with a lot of random stuff. I'm much happier with a smaller, more focused collection.

But today's focus is getting the Reign/Return gang together just as I like it!

I enjoyed the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie for what it was

It has a special place in my heart. I loved it when I saw it in theaters as a kid, and I still enjoy it today. It's nothing like the Mario games we played, but I've always looked at it as a sort of "Mario Multiverse Madness," a fun "what if?" take on the franchise.

Once you accept it for what it is, it's an absolutely wild, ridiculous, and fun ride. :) But hey, to each their own. And whether we like it or not, it IS part of our history, it exists, this is still a version of the Mario Bros. even if Shiggy is trying to sweep it under the rug quietly, I shall never forget.

New Thanksgiving Special - Terrifier 2 Figure looks amazing!

Especially the box art, wow! I love what they did here. Really feels like an old retro movie haha. The figurine looks great, as per all Art NECA figures. I can't wait to get this!!!!

I decided to play an all sprinter zomboid run and noticed the loading animation changes to a sprinter xD

So far my run is going good, been alive for a month but extremely low pop, top-tier zomboids (superhuman and all that) and my main focus: collect all VHS, Comics and Photographs lol priorities. Extremely low loot, especially guns.

EDIT: Here are my current game settings, mods, and skills for this run - https://youtu.be/Ph-d1hQJu94

Found this picture...

Was browsing for pics to compare good guy doll replicas for my brother and landed on this picture and I just can't 🤣

I got bored so I built "The Office" as best as I could in Project Zomboid. What should I build next?

It's a bit of a long shot...

EDIT: A friend of mine that I game with was able to find one near him and is now shipping it to me. We beat the scalpers folks 😄 sometimes it truly is worth waiting!!! Thank you to all who offered to help, and feel free to use this thread to help each other if needed. ❤️

Next month will mark 20 years with my wife. I have a lot of plans to surprise her, and honestly, I’m really excited, even though she deserves far more than I could ever give her. We’ve had 3 children together, been through some of the hardest times imaginable, and thankfully some of the best times too. She’s been my rock and my partner for basically half my life, and she’s already given me more than enough.

One thing we unexpectedly discovered together was a shared love for the Terrifier films. When Terrifier 1 first released, I watched it alone and loved the old-school horror vibe it had. I also really enjoyed Terrifier 2. My wife never liked horror movies, so those were always my thing at first. But after my heart attack, she became even more attentive and caring than she already was. She’s always been amazing, but when Terrifier 3 came around, she decided to watch Terrifier 1 and 2 with me before we watched 3 together on release. To my surprise, she absolutely loved them. She thought they were disgusting, funny, creepy, and entertaining all at once. She especially loved the stories in T2 and T3 and really appreciated the acting.

After that, we started collecting little Terrifier items whenever we stumbled across them. It became something fun we could enjoy together and look forward to. Over time, we built a pretty nice collection. Her favorite version of Art is definitely Santa Art. She owns every Funko Pop except one: the super rare Santa Art Limited Edition that only had 750 pieces made. Up here in Canada, it was basically impossible to get for under $1700 after shipping and taxes, so we had to give up on it. She never asks for anything, ever, but I could tell she really wanted that one. I’m still genuinely sad I could never make that happen for her.

Fast forward to the new NECA Santa Art figure release, and of course, it ends up being a Walmart exclusive. We almost never get those NECA exclusives here in Canada, or at least we never seem to find them. So our only option is online, and everyone’s seen how ridiculous the reseller prices have gotten. Not as insane as that Funko Pop, but still way too much. Again, I could tell she was disappointed knowing it would probably become another “too expensive” item. She’s too humble to ever complain about it, though. She’s an incredible mom and honestly deserves every good thing in the world.

I already have some anniversary plans in motion, but everything adds up fast between that, rent, and making sure our kids are fed and clothed first. I also just can’t justify paying scalper prices and supporting that kind of market.

I’ve honestly never done anything like this before, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. If anyone happens to come across one of these figures and would be willing to help out, maybe we could arrange something before our anniversary. I’d gladly pay the retail cost, shipping, and extra for your time, as long as it’s not at reseller prices.

If not, then no worries. I know we'll still live happily together and we'll be able to move past it but I thought it would be a great addition our 20th anniversary, to add this thing she really wants to the surprises. Especially that it's something we've connected together with.

Now that we have a Melissa Benoist Supergirl figure... I feel there's a better chance that we'll get a Tyler Hoechlin Superman figure. At least I hope so lol

If we do get a Tyler Figure, which one would you want them to make first? Tyler has quite a few variants, so they could easily do a platinum and base.

Bonus if we can finally get a Tom Welling figure as well.

If you’re like me and can’t stand that bright white space glowing off your second monitor, here’s a quick way to force a darker look and clean it up.

VIEW THE GIF IMAGE FOR EXAMPLES

#1 - On the Overview page (the one with all your cameras), right-click any empty white area and select “Inspect.”

#2 - A panel full of code will pop up. Don’t worry about most of it. Scroll a bit until you find a line that says “background-color: rgb…”

#3 - Change that value to whatever darker color you want, then close the panel using the X in the top right.

You’ll need to redo this the first time you log in each day unless you keep that PC running nonstop. The good news is that once you’ve done it a couple times, it takes maybe 10 seconds.

Still kind of wild that WYZE doesn’t just give us a simple dark mode toggle, but that’s where things are right now.

I’ve played every main Mario game. Honestly, even the spin-offs like Captain Toad and others. I’m a huge Mario fan. I’ve loved every one of them, some more than others, but I’ve played and finished every single Super Mario game in my 41 years on this planet. Somehow, though, I just cannot find the motivation to finish Super Mario Sunshine.

Every time I try, I play for about one to three hours, then I realize I’m not enjoying it, so I stop and come back to it a couple of years later. It’s not really the controls or anything like that. I think it’s the aesthetics. The graphics, the designs, the overall theme… Delfino Plaza just doesn’t click with me at all. Maybe, it's the "water theme" I HATE water levels in Mario, even the good ones lol

I really want to finish this game since it’s the only one I have left on the list. When I play a game, I go for 100% (probably an OCD thing lol). I just can’t figure out why I don’t like it. It’s honestly frustrating lol.

Anyway, just a little rant. I do hope that one day I’ll finally get through it.

If you were in the same boat and managed to finish it, how did you do it? What helped you push through?

A while back, I had to sell my RG556. It helped me through a lot, especially after my heart attack. I truly loved that device, but as a father of 3, I had to put my priorities first. I had to sell it, but it's comforting to know it went to a good home. Another father bought it for their son.

I still hope to get another one someday. About a month ago, I found a great deal on the Cube XX, and while it is a solid handheld, it is not quite the same as the RG556. Still, it gets the job done for now.

Anbernic consoles really are something special. They let me revisit my childhood anytime, anywhere, and my kids get to experience those great games too. We often plug this into the TV using the mini HDMI and just go ham for hours playing :)
