Prince of the morning, a red-tailed hawk. Boulder County, Colorado.

One of my favorite birds to watch, and their call is so iconic.

If you were out biking Doudy Draw today here’s you with some turkeys.

As I watched you bike past the majestic beasts I felt as if I was watching a scene from Jurassic Park. 🎶🦕

Chinese Kingdra looks off center, how bad will that change grading?

I love the art on this card so more want to grade it to protect and keep it, but will the way off center printing bring down the grade to like a 7-8?

Feather ID please!

Found this lovely feather out hiking, but can’t nail it.

My guesses are: 1.Hawk 2.Pheasant 3.Owl

Probably wrong but any help would be appreciated!

If you were out fishing by the pelicans today at St.Vrain, here’s a photo.

I hope they were humming the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song as they got closer.

Thought we’d have some accumulation by now but really not hitting those freezing temps overnight yet. Dang.

Emery St Arrest - 10:20 pm July 4th

Was doing laundry and heard sirens and lots of lights. Thought it was for fireworks at first. There is someone on my street that has a reputation for racism, bigotry, and overall not cool stuff. Along the lines of “banned from Perkins for being racist to staff” type stuff. Looks like a domestic dispute call escalated into I believe the individuals son pulling a weapon on the cops and he was taken down quickly. Dude was arrested screaming about the KKK and taking the cops to court.

A poetic July 4th evening to say the least.

Picked up a Spider-Man booster to compliment the Marvel packs I got at the local store today. Pulled a banger!

First big card I’ve gotten from Spider-Man so was hyped. Also got Thors Hammer from my Marvel packs. Great day to support local MTG stores!

What’s the price of laundry these days?

Hello fellow people that also launder clothing in Longmont,

I have one washer and dryer for my apartment complex that’s charging $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. Wanted to see if anyone else had prices they pay to get a range of where that’s at for cost. If anyone uses a laundromat and has any recommendations there that would be cool as well. Namaste home today and wash my clothes, thank you.

Climber fall in Chautauqua today.

Was out hiking and saw a good group of Boulder rangers and Mountain Rescue heading up trails around Woods Quarry. Heard someone might have fallen 50 ft and wanted to see if anyone had any updates. Stay safe out there!

Legal housing help

Hey everyone,

I am dealing with a fairly stressful situation with Sunnyside Property Management. When I moved in due to life circumstances I had to sign my lease apartment unseen. I assumed the basic tenant cleanings would happen and boy was I wrong. They never cleaned the apartment fully, nor the carpet. I walked in to a place that was covered in stains, dirt, hair, and even blood. I have requested so many times to get this resolved and cleaned and the company refuses to help or schedule an actual cleaning. All I want is the basic cleanings and apartment sanitation that should be expected, as everyday I am finding some new stain or rusted out part of the apartment. I have reached out to both Colorado Housing Help and Legal Aid, but does anyone know any local lawyers that I might be able to discuss this with? I have now paid full rent for months while living in an unclean apartment, and have many texts and emails from Sunnyside saying they would try to help but never actual schedule anything. Not sure if I just withhold rent or try to figure something out because it’s no fun living in the remnants of someone else’s filthy living. Thanks everyone, have an amazing day!

Forge running at Longmont Agricultural Center.

If anyone is looking for something to do, Tim and Amos are running the forge here at the farm off 66. It’s super awesome to listen to them talk and work the tools of the times before us.

There’s also goats, horses, and pigs to hang out with. Come on by if you’re looking for something fun to do, I believe they are here until noon.
