None of this is fun

I had to channel my pain into something, so I created a piece of jewelry that embraces how I will love again, but not before I'm ready. Until that time, this puppy is staying safeguarded.

Wearing my broken heart

On the surface it may look like I'm defeated, but this just means the key is under wraps until I'm ready to love again

Turn your broken heart into art

I'm really excited about this one because I've been brainstorming about it for weeks. I saw a post once that said "Turn your broken heart into art," so that's what I'm doing. I decided to take something deeply personal and create a piece of jewelry that other people experiencing similar things can identify with. It's not just a necklace; it's a story.

Cement and Crushed Glass

I made these pendants with cement, colored crushed glass, glitter, and occasionally a little bit of resin. The little divots are made by putting salt down in the mold before the cement and then later dissolving it with vinegar. What do you think?

Copy cat products

What do you do if you discover someone has copied one of your original jewelry designs? As of right now it doesn't look like she's selling them, just showing people on Instagram the new thing she made, which happens to be MY design. I've looked everywhere and I can't find this design anywhere else, so I know it's not a coincidence that there are multiple people out there who have thought of this. Should I confront her or just let it go? If I see her selling them on Etsy can I/should I report her? What would you do?

Flower placement advice

Do you think that I should make earrings mirror images of each other, or identical placement? I think I prefer mirror images of each other. Which do you prefer?
