Some 70s Vibes

Some 70s Vibes

I don't know why, but these earrings I made make me think of those octagonal side tables at my Aunts' house when I was little. You guys know what I'm talking about?

Copper Bubbles!

Here's what happens when you put dish soap foam on wet UV resin, cure it, then paint it. I'm excited to experiment with this more!

Pinch bail versus jump ring

Which looks better? A pinch bail or jump ring connecting the pendant to the chain? I'm leaning towards pinch bail, but I wanted to get the consensus. TYIA!

So I went a little crazy on the mini earrings

I made one pair. I really liked them. So I made 7 more. 😁 Some outfits call for big statement earrings, but some need a more minimalist look. And there's something so relaxing about being distracted by teensy tiny flowers, tweezers, and resin.

New mini dangle earrings I made

These are so delicate and weightless, I feel like I could wear them every day. I like my big earrings, too, but some outfits call for teensy flower earrings 🥰

Switching up the process

I decided to use my silicone molds as opposed to bezels yesterday. The ones with the hemp cords are a little more casual, but I like this look. I think I'll try some more shapes soon, too.

A little experimentation

I was feeling like something different yesterday, so I made some jewelry with my silicone molds as opposed to using bezels.

My Wildflower Spectrum pieces ♥️

I started making rainbow jewelry with colored crushed glass and made a switch recently to artificially dyed flowers. I love how they all turned out. Maybe black or white backgrounds would make them pop even more?

Rainbow Flower Resin Jewelry

I started out making rainbow earrings with crushed glass, but then I thought, why not try flowers, too? I am really liking how these all turned out. The flowers are artificially dyed, but do seem to be holding up just fine and are as vibrant as they were originally after several months. I might try a black or white background next.

My latest pieces

I'm really into these bright colors lately. Yes, they are artificially dyed, but they are still real flowers and I still think they're stunning

I made these fun resin earrings

I found the cutest wood bezels online and they work so well for resin and pressed flowers. I really love the color combo of the flowers and how the wood gives it an earthy feel. What colors should I try together next?

None of this is fun

I had to channel my pain into something, so I created a piece of jewelry that embraces how I will love again, but not before I'm ready. Until that time, this puppy is staying safeguarded.

Wearing my broken heart

On the surface it may look like I'm defeated, but this just means the key is under wraps until I'm ready to love again

Turn your broken heart into art

I'm really excited about this one because I've been brainstorming about it for weeks. I saw a post once that said "Turn your broken heart into art," so that's what I'm doing. I decided to take something deeply personal and create a piece of jewelry that other people experiencing similar things can identify with. It's not just a necklace; it's a story.
