I believe that rubies are born a very dark red, and as they age they fade cause of the sun. Eyeball is the oldest ruby we know in the show. Telling us she fought in the gem war along with jasper. Telling this story to navy and leggy who seem to not know the story. The gem war happend in era one, the early era of gem time. Doc also refers to leggy as rookie or noobie when its time to leave earth to go to neptune. And as we see leggy later on, she seems to be more confident and in touch. Showing that she is learning how to be a ruby. This is what I would expect from a ruby who is just been made. The other three are some where inbetween. Probubly made in era two or so. But we cant be sure. What i am sure if is navy is definitely old enough to consent. Question is am I old enough. No, no I am not. And in the last picture we see Ruby's old pals and they seem to have been a bit faded. Im guessing one went on more missions with a planet that had a sun. But the reason our ruby dident fade is she was hidden in a fusion. Aka garnet. Do you think this theory has some water or is this just a cool random outcome.

Green one may attack emphass. Emphass was just made into a snake god.
