Why is everything on Flathub mildly risky? Im looking at Steam it says can use mic without permission or lutris says can get data from services that arent related or protonvpn says can access your camera, why do they need so many permissions?
There are a few options to swap btc and monero but why are some of them software that you need to download and some of them are online sites only? Which is safer? There is eigenwallet and basicswap that are downloadable softwares in monero's site and there are online sites like fujn and simpleswap? Which one to use and I dont have a hardware wallet but an airgapped pc with a view only online pc? Do I need a third pc to download the swapping software?
Im using an airgapped pc for cold storage and I will be using my storage only for keeping money in it, how do monero gui and feather differ? Which one is better to use? Also why does feather use 16 words for seed, wouldnt using 24 words be safer? I get that its still hard to crack 16 words but 24 is even harder

Im using an airgapped pc for cold storage and I will be using my storage only for keeping money in it, how do electrum and sparrow differ? Which one is better to use? I heard sparrow has some newer features what are they? Also they wanted me to enter my seed after making it and you're never supposed to enter your seed anywhere but Im guessing typing it on an airgapped pc is ok?

I own an LG TV and after seeing the news I want to stay as private as possible. I saw people online blocking LG domains on their router so Im gonna do the same thing but other than that what else can I do? Is there any way to take the microphone out of your remote without damaging it or delete any info they have on you?
I looked up how to block lg domains online but my router seems a bit older than most people so it doesnt support wildcards and I manually added these to wan group(alphonso.tv lgtvcommon.com lgtvsdp.com Igsmartplatform.com nextlgsdp.com ueiwsp.com ibis.lgappstv.com jp.rdx2.lgtvsdp.com jp.lgtvsdp.com jp.info.lgsmartad.com lgad.cjpowercast.com.edgesuite.net ngfts.lge.com smartclip.com smartclip.net smartshare.lgtvsdp.com us.ad.lgsmartad.com us.ibs.lgappstv.com us.info.lgsmartad.com yumenetworks.com aic-ngfts.lge.com us.cdpbeacon.lgtvcommon.com lgsmartad.com) and put them in a blacklist for my tv lan(mac address))
There is also a google os in my home as well where can I find the domains Im supposed to block?
I heard they quietly removed ac from wildlans and I cant see any eac warning in steam page, did they quietly remove it?
I heard about a story in ultima online about a guy poisoning all the veterans after getting killed by one. It sounded really interesting and I want to play a MMORPG where you can do whatever you want but I dont want to pay for it all the time. Im guessing there are no free mmorpgs like this but Im ok with buying once but I dont want to pay a subscription
Im using ddg with firefox but I feel like ddg doesnt really show good results. When I search something it shows unrelated things or shows some fake sites at top and I sometimes have to use google to get the results I want and I dont want to use google. Is there a private and secure alternative to ddg that shows good results when you search?
Also what is the best browser? Firefox, waterfox, librewolf, zen etc?
I never played it but it sounds cool and I'd love to try it. From what I can see there are 2 emulators for it, mxoemu and hardline dreams. Which one are you guys using, which is better? Also is it worth to download and play this in 2026?
I played WD2 on ps4 but couldnt do online stuff because I didnt have a ps+. I got wd2 for free in epic a long time ago and I was just thinking if I could download it for online stuff and for roaming around the map, doing some activities I havent done yet. Is there an official or an unofficial way to transfer your saves?
I get that linux needs more help with some games and precaching makes the game run better but what am I downloading from the internet every time I start steam? I'd get it if it was just one game but I have to download like 400 mb for every game, does this mean Im going to fill out my ssd one day if I keep restarting steam or does steam download and delete these every time? There is also Helldivers which downloads 3gbs, why is that? I tried disabling this and then ran a game but it stuttered so keeping it off doesnt look like my answer
I am using fedora kde and Im using a cheap local keyboard, its rgb can be turned on and off with fn+scroll lock but it doesnt work in fedora. I tried openrgb but it only saw my mouse. I also tried this https://github.com/JonasAlv/ScrollLock_Monitor_Service?tab=readme-ov-file and it did turn the rgb on for good and I cant turn it off with scroll lock so I deleted it because there also has got to be a way that I can fix this without extra stuff and just typing lines. From what I see online this is also a common issue, but I couldnt make it work. Any fixes?
I got a s24 and I normally charge it every 3rd day or 2nd day if I used it too much but if I dont use it at all it sometimes gets to day 4. But before my phone gets an update the battery drains faster and I feel like my charging cycle gets -1 day so I charge it every second day even if I dont use it much or charge it daily. So whenever my battery drains faster I just know theyre about to release a new update, does anyone else feels this?
I've been trying to do a no death run and I feel like if I go through a level without dying enemies get too aggressive, gang up on me, just try to kill me as hard as they can but when I die they relax, get more passive and dont try too much. Im not just talking about the spesific enemy group that killed me because the game would be much harder if they ganged up on you after you came back but Im talking about the entirety of the enemies in the chapter
I will mostly use the system for browsing, gaming and maybe editing(although if it doesnt work in linux I'll dual boot windows). I heard Cachyos is good for gaming and its very customizable but its also rolling release and I dont want to update everyday if it takes long or dont want to break my system because some update wasnt compatible with my stuff and fedora is more stable. I have an i7 13700kf and a 3060 ti.
I heard fedora is also customizable but arch is more customizable ig, what are the differences between them?
How is gaming in fedora compared to cachyos?
Another important thing is security and privacy, AUR got infected 1-2 months ago, how do we know if the infection was cleaned all the way or if its gonna get infected again, but fedora also had a backdoor in repositories so which would be more secure? There is this guy(https://www.reddit.com/r/DistroTube/comments/1swcb9m/an\_overlooked\_issue\_with\_cachyos/) who raises some points about the russian government and laws, and I dont trust the russian government to care about my privacy
