Hi all,
I have been seeing a lot of posts (mostly on threads) from Blackfolk that want to learn how to play RPGs mostly DnD. So I wanted to make an all black table on Discord to teach people one of my favorite RPGS- Mage: The Ascension. It is a modern setting where players are mages that bend and occasionally break reality. The magick system is amazing and goes deeper than just spending manna and casting a spell.
If you want to try I'm doing one session on Tuesday 7/7 at 12:30 EDT and another on 7/9 at 7:00 EDT on Discord.

Even though the radiation levels have cooled, times are still hard in Night City. Management Conglomerates squeeze their tenants for every EuroBuck they can for rent. Easy Money / Hard Luck is a beginner friendly one shot for Cyberpunk RED. Your characters will have to use their wits, luck and style to survive in Night City.

Hi everyone,

I used to do strictly analog Jungle and Drum and Bass back in the day. A few years ago I sold my turntables and mixer and now I'm on a new city and have some means to get back in to it. Its been a long time and the tech has gotten pretty amazing but my dnb collection is too massive for me to digitize efficently. I've messed around with a ddj200 DDJ 400 but ultimately I want a setup that has a mixer 2 turntables and can link to rekordbox. I'm thinking a USB Mixer that can let me switch from Phono to Line so I can play normal records or controller records for my digital songs. So any recommendations on how I can do this for between 1000 and 1400 would be greatly appreciated. (I already have a laptop, monitors and headphones)

Plot Summary: Far from the epicenter of the Ascension War, the young independent mages of the Bronx have done their best to understand their own Awakenings and still interact with the communities they claim. Through a combination of networking, luck and mystic nudging, they have formed The Community Music and Outreach Center on White Plains Road. When a knock on the Center’s door turns a quiet night upside down, the Mages will be thrust into a test of local loyalty, mystical skill and bravado.

No prior experience with Mage the Ascension is needed.  We will be using pre-generated characters to jump right in to things, with some options for players to tailor. Additional information, safety tools (X-Card, Line and Veils)  and group norms will be discussed at the start of the game. Links to Discord and VTT to be distributed before the game begins. Astra-24 years old, former student of ethnomusicology that has awakened to be a conduit for the blessings, and curses, of The One. 

JB Haverston “JBridge” - 19- Graffiti writer that rides the sympathetic connections between people, places and things. As above with the tag on the ceiling, so below with the bass under your feet. 

TaFyer - 20 A Mystic MC with a penchant for burning bass bins. TaFyer has awakened to the inner universal divine and projects it out to change the world.

LaShan Davis -  23 Awakened during a family shattering near death experience that peeled back the veil between this world and the realm of spirit.

Hey all, so through a surprising set of circumstances, I'm going to be hosting a listening session mostly of 90s and early 2000's with u/clubfriendsradioandrfecords popup spot at 900 Market Street this Wednesday from 7-9 pm. It will be a chance to talk about music and listen to some classic and obscure but all dope jungle from between 1993 and 2003 over an amazing intimate soundsystem. Basically like hanging out in your living room with a club quality system! $10 to help cover the cost of the space.
