What if the Pleistocene ice caps/landmasses survived?

Hi, i was thinking about making a scenario where Northern Africa/the Middle East have a colder climate (and etc for the rest of the world) so the groups that settle there become the dominant world powers (like Europe of otl) and would this be possible if the Pleistocene ice caps stayed? first, can they say, and if so, can the landmass “shapes” survive but just some of it can just become very cold (not ice caps) (sorry for vague wording, not a geography expert lmao). And would this have the desired effect, as civilisation centres a little further south than otl. and how would this effect the rest of the worlds climate and such. Thanks

The Black Charade + Fell Out Boy (Derby) ?

Hi!! So long story short i was so closee to getting tickets for the MCR concert this year, either Liverpool or London, but my parents said they didn't want to/couldn't take me there and i wasn't allowed to travel on my own 😞. But luck has struck me, as i found out about the The Black Charade + Fell Out Boy tour. This prospect has excited me and i hopefully will go to this, perhaps a real MCR concert in the future haha. But i have two questions. Firstly, my main question, has anyone here been to see these tribute acts? I've come across a few YT videos, but i just wanted to see what people's opinions were on the whole thing. Second, less so, but is anyone here planning to go to this, specifically the date in Derby? Just curious. For either question, thanks very much 😃 (ps, i would've crossposted this to the other band's subreddit but cant see how to do that rn lmao, so just reposting it there)

Curse you, Steve Jobs

gangarinos, first I’m sorry ab the comment thread from yesterday 😭 if you don’t know it’s okay but if you do I’m sorry, i misread and it took me a while to figure it out but I ended up going forward with it a little bit in the end. apologies. but curses to zip files i fucking hate them, on Apple phone theres like nothing you can do with them. I much prefer mp3 files, theyre straight to the point and I love ppl who also like mp3. its my Hyperfixation. ps spare me mods 🙏

regarding those large QBAM maps that i see everywhere, i really want to make a few myself, and im sure i have the skills and all- but i know a majority of them are made using MSpaint or another PC app, which i don't have access to right now. For convenience, i'm looking for a mobile app, ie on an apple ipad or iphone, which has the capabilites of making these types of maps- in good quality and detail. Can anyone help? thanks

▲ 8 r/weezer

from October-November 2025 and March-April 2026, i've listened to most of the popular Weezer albums. (ranked in order of most-least favourite) i've listened to: pinkerton, ewbaite, maladroit, blue, white, green (after this the ranking gets a little not sure), make believe, hurley, red, van weezer. Which albums do i listen to now, and if so in a specific order? I was also thinking of listening to the rentals' stuff and ik that aint specifically weezer but its related i guess? my main favourite genre is emo/pop punk but Weezer is my #3 favourite artist and have been my longest artist i have a real passion for. Thanks Weezer gang <3
