Edit: I have come around on rein he should move up one. And I have realized I may be blinded by Junos kind voice when she says hello to me 😔

Real or fake? From EBay, just wanted to check

signed copy from eBay, was on bid but I just bought now and plus shipping and stuff totalled to £20, the seller also sells like old/(vintage?) toys and stuff so it seemed pretty believable.

Let me redesign your old crappy prisons!!

I’ve lowk got some creative block 😭 but give me some of your prisons that may be old, messy or made when you were a beginner and I will try and redesign them to be aesthetically pleasing and such!! (no hate tho, all prisons are wonderful 🫶) thank you

(UK, 17 for context) is it just me or I kinda feel in the middle of the scale between “normal” and “weird” people and it kinda makes things difficult or at least weird?

like, pls comment if you agree or disagree or understand me or have any other points to make, but as context to my situation: I’m 17, male (at least without any effort to do anything else rn or can’t, think Gerard way type shi regarding gender) same for sexuality but I literally give no thought to both of these labels. I’m not really into normal people stuff, ie art, videogames, worldbuilding, history, politics, also into emo poppunk alt rock bands and the like, I just went to see mcr on my own, and regarding appearance I’ve got dyed hair and real eyebrow and fake snake bit piercings right? I’m not into sport or gym or cars or anything like that, I’m pale and scrawny tbf. But I’m not as “weird” as a lot of people I see are. I got an apprenticeship early (looking to change this asap tho but worried about job security), I can drive, normal ppl prolly say otherwise but compared to the other end I feel like a fairly sensible and apolitical and knowledgable person? im from a fairly well off family in a nice area and most of the “weird” ppl see aren’t of that level (not poor, and no hate, just trying to word it as clearly as possible in my head) Terms of subculture, I’m not a furry or a alterperson (?), I’m not toooo weirdly dressed, ie I wear band shirts and baggy jeans and boots and wallet chains but not like tails or arm warmers or plastic beads or nothing of the sort, and seeing people online who are like fully like that at least, i feel quite different and apart from that despite normal ppl saying im the same, at worst I kinda get the ick. sorry if this is really vague or rambly but just wanted to get my points across 😭 thank you

Running out of time and I have no clue 🙏

Hi, I’ll try and relay the facts of my situation as clearly as possible but I’d hugely appreciate as much help as possible and this seems like a sensible place. For a long time I’ve had no clue what I want to do in life and it’s really freaking me out and cus I feel I don’t wanna waste too much time but my times also running out?

I’m from the UK, I’m 17 right now. I’d say I’m kind of an “alt“ person, ie I like different music and I’m a nerd for history and althistory and games and the like, but I don’t want to make that a focus of this if it doesn’t need to be. And it’s prolly misuse of the word so yknow. But im not as ”weird/quirky/alternative” as other people are, if that makes sense. My parents are kind of anti-college, more leaning on an apprenticeship or something of the like, but they’ve said before that we (my siblings ig) can go to college and uni but only if I have a clear plan of where I’m going to go and what I’m going to do after. Which makes sense.

For GCSEs, I took history, engineering and electrics for GCSE. I did relatively well in all of these. My strongest subjects were history and English and electrics surprisingly but I think that’s just because I did well at the coursework, my weakest spots were maths and science but I didn’t get anything below a grade 5. These results were without much revision at all haha.

I applied for a ton of engineering adjacent jobs in the last year of school (2025) and some this year, my dad does this and I really wanted to try it but I kept failing again and again and I also just realised it wasn’t for me.

I applied for college doing politics, history and business with the aim of doing something using those. I only went there for 3 weeks but i was sort of self convinced/parentally convinced to try and get a job. I kind of told myself that it would be hard to get a job using those, and it probably was, but then I left after 3 weeks.

I applied for a l2 warehousing job near me, kind of as a last resort, and I got it but I’ve realised I really dislike it. They aren’t super professional, but it’s all just manual work and my brain isn’t used at all and I’m told I’m doing well but it makes me really feel like shit when I'm told that because it feels like easy work and im not going anywhere in life. Idk if this relates but I don’t really like kind of “crude” environments, I really don’t wanna sound like a snob or over talk about it if it has no relevance but ie the job I’m at right now has a lot of people who’ve had hardships with money, drugs, etc but I haven’t really had any of that 😭 I also don’t really relate because a lot of them are just content with the manual labour and I’m not at all, I feel like a failure because of it and it’s mentally tormenting to really deep think about my work and my position.

For a long time I’ve really had no clue what I want to do, like a deep set 100% I’m convinced career plan. I’ve thought about engineering, smth historical, tattooist, veterinarian, journalism, archaeology. i applied for game concept art (im mid ish at art right now) at college for this september too. But im really still not sure. I need some advice on which jobs are realistic and which jobs are “dead” ie hard to get or not very prosperous. I’ll add that I don’t live near a really big city, I’m 40 mins from Nottingham and 1h from Birmingham, if that helps. I really love worldbuilding and writing and creative stuff like that, I’m a sucker for lore games and sandbox games, but I’m just not sure if there are many jobs out there like that. I want to feel like im doing something worthwhile, feel like im happy in my life. and I want to know if college or university or an apprenticeship or whatever path best fits this. I’m open to options but I hope I can have some real back and forth discussion from people who understand.

If anyone has any questions to help narrow it down or any advice, I’d really appreciate it, i don’t want to go to or not go to college this September then realise my calling later and mess things up. I’m just really stuck. Thank you for reading <3

Hi, just wanted to how I’ve started listened to LOTS of new music over the past 9 months (Oct 2025-Now) and these are the results. I’ll explain more in the comments. Pls provide thoughts/opinions thank you

  1. listened. pretty simple. albums I’ve listened to since October 2025-now. I’ve tried to stick to albums and big EPs, so any small stuff (ie MCR foundations of decay, Weezer Shine Again) I have listened, just not there for cleanliness. Any questions for specifics please do ask tho.

  2. to listen: albums I would like to listen to, some sooner but some later. again, any questions, like idk what I wanna listen to more than others pls do ask. a lot of the content in 3) will be above those in 2) tho, ive mainly just noted these here because I know more about the artist (ie I’ve listened already) and know a little more what I’m going into. (I FORGOT PENCEY PREP AND PROJECT ROCKET)

  3. artists that I would love to listen to, some quite a lot, some now as much (again, pls ask) but I’m not sure where to start. feedback is appreciated.

My Top 10 Artists over the past 6 Months:

  1. My Chemical Romance

  2. Fall Out Boy

  3. Weezer

  4. The Used

  5. Gorillaz??

  6. Nine Inch Nails

  7. My Upside Down

  8. Gerard Way

  9. Taking Back Sunday

  10. Paramore

any opinions, thoughts, recommendations I’d greatly appreciate. thanks very much for reading :D

Videoing Etiquette? Wembley (11th) (Photo is for Seat Example)

Hi, I was able to get tickets for Wembley on the 11th and I’m actually stoked, its looking to be an electric night, at least crowd wise. Im not a concert expert, it is my first one, but that’s the general videoing etiquette like these days? I’m sitting right at the back, close to where the photo is (another event but same venue ofc). When will people be videoing/photo taking the most or is it generally the same throughout? Also would it be rude of me to video and photo, just a few bits tho, or the alternative idea I was given to use my phone camera to zoom in and watch some (may but may not do, just in case my eyesight is shit on that day and the glasses don’t help enough haha. Thanks

Wembley B-Sides/Spicy New Stuff?

Hi, I have a question regarding the Wembley shows, more specifically the Saturday date but any is fine. As i write this, right now the b-sides for Liverpool are playing, and I’ve been hopping in a few times and seen Save Yourself, Planetary Go, Venom and Cemetery Drive (and ofc the three definitely ones for every show). Apologies for the vague question, but what do you think/predict the b sides for the Wembley date (specifically Saturday but also the other two) will be? What have the b sides been for the tours so far? How are the songs decided? And this is kinda random but cus it’s the final night of the UK is there a chance anything especially interesting will happen on the Saturday? Thanks

Pop Punk/Emo guitar/bass?

Hi, me and my friend want to start making music collaboratively using GarageBand. They’re mainly doing the vocals and I’m doing the GarageBand “proper stuff” if that makes sense. We want to make music inspired by mainly Fall Out Boy (for now mainly Evening Out, Take This To Your Grave, Under The Cork Tree) and little MCR (mainly Bullets and 3 Cheers but some Danger Days eventually I hope). Also little bits of Paramore and NIN but less so. The drums are sorted fine, the SoCal drums seem to work and sound similar but what guitars/basses would fit here, and if they need changing settings or filter wise or whatever, how? If you have any follow up questions please ask. Thanks
