Leak on 22’ 540ix
Hello 👋
I was driving my 2022 BMW 540ix, and hit a piece of debris in the road on the way home from work. I looked under the car when I got home.
Looks like my undercarriage is unscathed from the debris but I think I found a bigger and separate issue - I saw fluid leaking from this component (first image) underneath the car (second image).
Any help on ID-ing the part and fluid would be appreciated.
I have an extended warranty (if it even covers this!), but want to know what type of I am issue potentially facing, and a possible solution.
The car has 38,000 miles and has been serviced regularly.
