Bike to ride to Alaska/Yukon/Arctic Circle? Air or Liquid cooled 1200GSA?

Looking to ride to Tuktoyaktuk and/or Prudhoe Bay and/or do the Canol Road…

Definitely want a GSA… there are 220 mile stretch’s between service stations…

I’ve always liked air/oil cooled for simplicity, but I’ve heard the water cooled has better wind protection? Or would an after market screen fix that?

The water cooled also gets a bit better milage? Does this give it more range with the slightly smaller tank?

I’d like cruise control so only the 2013/14+ but I’m assuming it only works in a road mode with the traction control on? I really don’t like electronics… front wheel ABS is nice but thats about it… I’m tempted to get a 1150 to avoid all the rider aids…

What a very specific Sporty… black 03, spoked wheels, normal controls…

So I want a “classic” Harley… I want to pretend I’m in 1962 and go ride route 66… even the 1995+ digital OD bothers me but oh well…

I want a black 2003, XL1200 NOT CUSTOM, on spoked wheels with dual gauges… normal rear set controls, normal stock bars…

I see 883 huggers on spoked all the time but I kinda storta want a 1200 even tho the 883 is more oldschool…

Any tips on finding one? I’ve only ever seen 2…

MauiRose but lighter? Category 2… maybe even 1?

Thx to Miami Vice I have some beautiful Rose to clear fade Carrera 5512’s… these are what got me into rose tinted glasses…

I also love how light they are, if I need to remove them for whatever reason it’s not blinding, I can wear them into stores and such… but being vintage I’m afraid of damaging them as they are hard to find especially with original lenses and all…

Looking for the best modern replacement I got some MauiJim HanoHano’s… they are way clearer… but also way to dark if they were as dark as the bottom all over they would be better… the gradient isn’t like my Carreras it’s basically 2 tiers dark and light vs a whole fade 12% and 15% according to this review https://www.sunglassscience.com/post/maui-jim-mauirose-sunglasses-lens-review This also say’s the MauiBrilliants are 13% and MauiPurr 14% but only the Ho’okipa’s come in that lease material…

This brings me to the style… I don’t like more normal glasses or sporty looking ones, I LOVE Carrera’s… Original Wayfairers… Dita has a lot of styles I like…

So basically a light rose fade tint? Wouldn’t NEED to be a gradient but yeah… probably a VLT of 20-30%?

Are any brands still owned by their creators and made in the country they were started?

Almost every brand is owned by private equity now… lots are made in Italy but by Luxottica like perviously American Ray-Bans…

Carrera is owned by Safilo Group (Same with Smith) and now made in China instead of Austria…

Serengeti was started by Corning Glass, but sold to Bollé…

Are there any comparisons of hard luggage? SW-Motech vs Givi vs Lonerider etc?

Searching just brings up 50 “soft vs hard” videos… it’s honestly super annoying how bad search functions have become in 2026… If I wanted soft I’d go Moskomoto but I really think I want hard for the security and easy of access to stuff.

Are all square shaped luggage racks the same?

Or is every brand proprietary? Lets say I want to run Lonerider cases on a bike they don’t offer a rack for? Will any “Rectangle rack” work or?

Which Adventurer Taylor packs to buy with 8000 gold bricks?

This for a FTP person in my alliance…

Can he get her to level 2? Or should he just drop the $5 on unlock and spend the rest elsewhere?

So Netgear discontinued the outdoor Orbi? What's the best alternative?

I have a farm with an old farm house with no internet, old "long range" routers use to barely cover it but as speeds have progressed with higher frequencies it doesn't.

I was going to use Ubiquity nano beams from the main house but once I found out about outdoor Orbies I was going to use 2 indoor and 2-3 outdoor ones to cover most of the area around the house... I'm just now finding out tho that they seem to be discontinued...

Jackets for chubby dudes?

ADV or anything really… The higher the CE rating the better. I need a XL or 2XL… or 3XL (damnit Italians) in order to fit, some are ok but usually the bellies still tight a the arms are to long… I have fairly broad shoulders so XL’s are usual ok there but 2X’s and up become an issue…

I get the race stuff is made for the super slim iron horse jockeys but is there anything that isn’t? I have heard the Klim Induction pro has a little more room in the middle than the normal induction but besides that and loose fitting riding hoodies I haven’t found anything… I was interesting in AlpineStars new air hoodie but I think I’d be a 3X in that… 🙄. I have a Speed and Strength hoodie in a XL and it’s loose on me all over.

Should say, shoulders for suits and stuff I’m a 46? Which in Euro is like a 56? Idk…

What is the part number and cost for the 390 Adventure cruise control? I’m seeing multiple options…

Got a 2026 390 Adventure R and I want to put the cruise module on it.

Also was planning on the tech pack but apparently that doesn’t exist? Just the quick shifter is the only other thing?

Could I/Has anyone attached a different brands panniers to a rackless system?

So I want soft luggage on my 390 Adventure R

I want small 20-30ish litters for the panniers

I either want the bags to be removable (so Giantloop doesn’t work) or the dry bag inserts to be able to come out to bring into a hotel easily.

I don’t want dry bag tubes that open on the end, as they are hard to get into, I want it for more everyday use than pack, ride and open when you stop for the night…

Moskomotos reckless 10 is to small, 40 to big and 16 not water proof… (Altho a good size and I believe the bags remove from the base)

Enduristans Hailstorm bags are fuggly…

Kriegas is modular but just square bags…

Do you think I would buy Kriegas system or the Moskomoto and then strap Enduristan or Nelson Rigg saddlebags to it?
