Confused as to how someone can be booked for a dui but claim they

Haven’t been charged yet?

AZ here. Friend claims she was arrested for dui but is awaiting charges. That sounds incorrect to me, right? Wouldn’t she immediately know the charges within days? She was arrested months ago. That can be proven. I wonder if I’m being lied to or if she is just too much of a drunk to get her facts/memory straight.

How long after dui did it take them to suspend your license? I got my BAC that day so...

Not sure why it takes some people forever to get their BAC results. I had 0 choice in the matter otherwise I would have refused.

Im in AZ and not sure why it hasnt been suspended yet. The only thing ive gotten was a letter that my car was towed (no **** sherlock) basically telling me to go make sure I contact the tow yard and get my car back.

They also made me take some type of cat scan to check my brain out, against my will and wrote that I had an altered mental state

Police never found me in my car. I was trying to get gas a few streets over when they forced me in an ambulance. I did have a severe blood infection causing a lot of pain so maybe that explains a bit of my behavior.

Need to pick up my impounded vehicle. Ive never had to do this.

Quick question - do they drive it out of tow yard to me in front or do I go in to retrieve it? I really dont want anyone driving my car. It ran out of gas and thats how i got caught so I need to bring fuel to put in it. Or do they tow it out to the front? IDK

EDIT THIS WAS IN AZ

Whats the longest bike ride youve ever taken in one go?

I'm pretty fit, trying to figure out if a 20 mike one would be insane. 20 miles one way. Then back, so 40 miles total.

well... F***! I have to look at a god awful black out drunk email I sent months ago which was UNHINGED

i want to cry. I sent it to someone important.

It was so unhinged Im surprised I wasnt taken away in cuffs.

Drinking really makes me hate myself.

Their response is likely brutal and it makes me want to go hide under a rock having to face the reply. Am I alone? Is this hell?

Pointless post but I found it interesting Alicia said she doesnt eat protein.

She loves carbs and I don't blame her but the lack of protein was interesting to me because looking at her I'd never guess this is what her diet looks like. Must be good genetics and calorie counting. I'm jelly. Not hating.

God I hope her name is Alicia. I dont really watch these shows, but the rhori has been fun background noise.

Bell Beefer. Who here tried it?

Per the wiki this was available during 1975 to the mid 90s. "The Bell Beefer was an item previously available from Taco Bell. It was a hamburger-based item that had seasoned beef, shredded cheese, taco sauce, and lettuce."

Its way before my time but i thought id ask. Was it good?

What do you add to a salad that has oil and vinegar dressing?

Im thinking I should add feta instead of mozzarella for an extra kick of flavor. Cucumbers, lettuce, onions, sun dried tomatoes.... what else should I add?

Has a foundation ever dried your skin out?

Hi everyone!

I'm starting to think that Loreal Pro-Matte foundation is drying my skin out. I've used it for YEARS, probably 10 years. I'm 35 now and my skin is starting to get drier. I don't know if that's normal?

Anyways my undereye area and forehead now look like the crypt keeper whenever I'm wearing this. No other changes other than time itself.

Does having to respond to a message, email, or text stress any of yall out to the point of needing a drink?

Got damn Ive been sober for about 2 weeks and all I want to do is drink ATM because I have to respond to something.

Its way worse when you know you sent out the original blackout wasted. I wish I didnt have to click on their response right now haha

Surprised by how good my skin looks atm. Gave up vodka 10 days ago (huge alcoholic), had to give up botox 9 months ago due to illness.

DONT GET ME WRONG ID LOOK EVEN BETTER WITH THE BOTOX. But right now its not a possibility. Botox was the only thing keeping me from looking like the crypt keeper when my drinking got really bad.

Started consistently drinking enough water to pee clear since quitting 10 days ago. I live in a really hot, dry state.

Despite not getting botox since October, my skin currently looks just as good.

In the past id only drink enough water for like 3 days and then give up.

My eyes look a lot better too. Brighter. Healthier.

My skin hasnt looked this good since before I started heavy drinking years ago. I thought that youthful glow was permanently gone. I am 35 after all.

Is buying a vacuum sealer worth it? They cost like $25. I buy a lot of meat and freeze in ziploc bags

EDIT: I went ahead and bought one for about $20!!!!!

Had to throw out a ribeye this week and that really pissed me off

What vegetables do you add to Yellow Thai Curry?

I ask too many questions on here but I couldn't find a better subreddit to ask. Right now I only add onions, carrots, and potatoes (I know those aren't vegetables). Curious if yall add anything else.

Oh and protein, I always add a protein source.

EDIT: POTATOES ARE VEGETABLES!!! I had to google it, I thought for sure they fell under another umbrella.
