Why does coverage sometimes feel better on the motorway than in towns?

I’ve noticed this a few times, where the signal feels oddly more stable when I’m on the motorway compared to being in town, even though you’d expect it to be the other way around. In towns, it sometimes drops or gets patchy, but once I’m driving on the motorway, it just feels more consistent and I can’t really figure out why that happens.

Is it just me or do the app estimates sometimes become completely different once the order is actually placed?

I’ve been noticing this quite a bit lately, where I’ll place an order and the app initially shows a fairly reasonable delivery time, but then when I check again, it suddenly jumps and gets extended by 30 to 40 minutes or more. Feels a bit misleading in the moment because you plan around the original estimate, but then it shifts quite a lot after. Not sure if it’s just demand spikes or driver availability changing in real time, but it’s happening often enough that I’ve started expecting it now.

Is Spurs vs. West Ham the most expensive relegation battle in football history?

It’s mental that we’re even saying this, but with Burnley and Wolves already down, the final relegation spot is between Tottenham (38pts) and West Ham (36pts). Spurs have the goal difference safety net, but they travel to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday for a "London Derby from Hell." Meanwhile, the Hammers go to Newcastle on Sunday. If results go against them, one of these clubs will be playing Championship football in August. Who’s going down? My head says West Ham, but my heart says Spurs are experts at a late season bottle.

Is there a genuine difference in quality between cheap sockets and expensive ones?

Or is it mostly branding and aesthetics? How do you identify it? Is there a particular brand or what is it?

Is it normal for electricians to be booked weeks in advance now?

I contacted a few local electricians recently and most of them were fully booked for quite a while. I wasn’t sure if that’s just how things are now or if I’ve been unlucky. How far ahead do people usually need to book for non urgent work?

Do you listen to 6 Music more for the presenters or the music itself?

I've heard from many and personally, for some shows I’d still listen to even if the playlist wasn’t entirely my thing because the presenter makes the whole thing enjoyable anyway. Other times it’s purely about the music discovery side of it.

The variety at Wales on Wheels was great. Definitely some of my favourites from the show.

Has anyone changed their long term property strategy because of recent interest rates?

Feels like a lot of the older advice around investing doesn’t quite work the same way anymore with current borrowing costs and yields.
