Was the BDI theory pushed hard on Reddit as a viral marketing campaign for A James Kolar’s book?

I don’t know, I feel like I never really heard much about Burke possibly killing JBR until 2012. Prior to that it was always a toss up between the parents and an intruder. This was also right around the time Reddit seemed to blow up, and to give a better idea, it would have been contemporaneous with the whole Boston Marathon bombing Reddit sleuthing. It’s like the Reddit of 2012 was a perfect environment for a guerilla marketing campaign to push an “um actually, it not what everyone else thinks, it’s actually this third option that you need to be a really smart super sleuth to understand" narrative and have it take off.

Is there any tangible evidence of John Ramsey sexually abusing his daughter or is it just speculation?

As of right now, I’m leaning somewhere around 45% PDI, 35% BDI, 20% IDI. It seems that all of the evidence for JDI and of John being a chomo comes from Linda Arndt having a "gut feeling." I’m under the impression that the evidence that JonBenet was even abused at all when she was alive is dubious.

Was the name of OHW candidate 'boyslikegirls' supposed to be an imperative sentence meaning "boys are attracted to girls" (heteronormativity/homophobia) or a noun and adjective suggesting they are "boys that are like girls" (cisnormative androgyny)?

Let’s settle this: Who’s the king of the "old school barbershop"/"sophisticated gentleman"/"you smell like my grandpa" genre?

I want to attempt DIY wrapping my hood and trunk. Is black carbon fiber or matte black easier?

It’s a sub-compact 2010 Ford Focus with about 150,000 miles on it. It has been well maintained and still runs good, probably has a good deal of life left, it’s just in dire need of detailing both inside and out. Paint is chipping (I know I need to sand and level this before wrapping), light housings are cracking and need to be replaced, interior trim has a lot of UV damage, the list goes on.

It’s probably not worth taking to a professional. I watched some YouTube videos (that probably make it look a lot easier than it actually is), figured I’d just try to do the trunk and hood for now, see how much I hate it and how bad I do, and decide if I want to try wrapping the rest of the car later.

I’d like to do the hood and trunk either matte or carbon black. I’ve narrowed my search for specific wraps down to 3M 2080 Carbon Fiber Black (CFS12) and Deep Black (M22). Would one of these be significantly easier?

Now that hating on Creed out of contrarianism is too passé, it’s cool to hate on Parfums De Marly. When PDM hate is too common, who’s next? Xerjoff? Bond No 9?

I’m sorry but at the advice of counsel I respectfully decline to answer any questions until I can speak to an attorney based upon my rights under the fifth amendment of the Constitution.

If the full transcripts of the grand jury were unsealed, to what extent would it answer all of our questions?

Would the testimony and evidence that was presented that isn’t publicly known make it obvious what actually happened? From what I can tell, the jury’s vote to indict John and Patsy on "abuse resulting in death" and "accessory to murder" is pretty vague. It could hint that the jury believed BDI, but even if that were the case, the abuse charge seems off. Or "PDI did it by accident and John helped cover it up" could fit.

Do you think that Colorado will ever unseal those transcripts? Has anyone tried suing Colorado for violating the FOIA?

Noob who has never owned an AR-15, or any long gun in general. After doing my research, this is what I’m currently settled on. Talk me out of, or into, purchasing any of it.

As much as I’d love to just splurge on a Geissele right away, that’s probably not wise. I want something entry-level, but reliable and not cheap/budget. After doing some research on my own, this is what I’m leaning towards.

Rifle: Smith & Wesson M&P Sport III
Optic: Vortex Crossfire II
Sling: Blue Force Gear Vickers
Light: Streamlight Pro-Tac (there appears to be several different models of this light and I’m not sure which exact model to get.)

My biggest concern is the optic. I’m not sure whether or not I need a magnifier, or if I should skip the red dot in general and go for an LVPO. I’m also considering holding out a bit longer, and saving for the EOTECH holographic sight.

I was also considering the Ruger Harrier or Springfield Saint Victor V2, but it seems the Smith is the safest bet, and best platform to add upgrades too.

"The date was going great, so we went back to his place. He smelled amazing, so I needed to know what he was wearing. I looked at the bottle on his nightstand, and it said 'TESTER - NOT FOR RESALE.' I knew it was over then and there, so I left, and don’t plan on calling him back."

Anyone here try Stirling Soap Company’s EDTs? Considering the price, this is actually a very convincing Green Irish Tweed imitation.

I’m not sure what the overlap of fragrance people and /r/wicked_edge users looks like, but if you’re part of the latter you know who Stirling are. This really does feel like I’m shaving and spraying myself with Green Irish Tweed. The performance, projecting and longevity of the Stirling EDT against the Creed is obviously not there, but the scent is practically identical, even more so than Cool Water or Tres Nuit.

If you could only have one Saponificio Varesino scent….

I’m curious about SV. I might splurge on one soap and a matching aftershave splash. Based on what I know, I’m torn between Opuntia and 80th Anniversary, which I’ve been led to believe are inspired by Aventus and BDC, respectively. Are either of those safe? Are either of them significantly better than Executive Man or Deep Blue Sea from Stirling?

Or should I get another scent?

I plan on installing Linux Mint Cinnamon, as I briefly used it before with few problems. I want KDE Plasma as my desktop environment. Will the fact that it comes installed with Cinnamon cause problems? Should I just install vanilla Debian and choose Plasma as my desktop?

I feel like this might be a stupid question. Phrasing it differently: Would installing Linux Mint Cinnamon only to changing the desktop environment be redundant, making it so I should just install Debian instead?
