I can buy some Reptqdon riders for a good price. Are they any good and how do you use them?
Also reading their abilities. Do you need both the Chargers and Hunters for them to be effective. Or is just one of the two also worth it?

Ik had een setje in mijn hand maar heb nu toch spijt dat ik ze niet heb gekocht. Weet iemand of ze een webshop hebben?
Cult Name:
Cult of the Celestial Wake
Named after the trail a ship leaves behind in space — invisible, silent, and gone before anyone notices. Every infected world, every crashed ship, every new cult spawned is just another wake left behind as they move on.
Head Canon:
The Wake has no central base, no fixed home, and no single leader. They are a constellation of independent cells — each led by a Primus/Magus pair — operating across dozens of vessels simultaneously. No cell knows the full picture. They don’t need to. The Hive Mind knows.
Their method is coldly elegant:
A cell infiltrates a vessel — usually a Rogue Trader ship, pilgrim transport, or merchant freighter. Over weeks or months they replace crew members one by one, never rushing, never drawing attention. When critical mass is reached the Magus seizes psychic control of the remaining crew while the Primus locks down the bridge. The ship is then steered directly into a populated planet at full speed.
The crash doesn’t kill everyone. That’s intentional. The survivors carry the infection into the planet’s population and a new cult begins to grow — leaderless at first, guided only by the faint whisper of the Hive Mind until it finds its feet.
Meanwhile the cell that caused it has already boarded the next vessel.
What makes them unique: They don’t stay to watch. They don’t care about the worlds they infect. Each planet is purely a delivery mechanism for the next generation of cultists. Cold, efficient, and utterly without sentiment — exactly as the Hive Mind intended.
The cells communicate only through encoded Tyranid bio-signals disguised as standard vox traffic. Inquisitors have been hunting the pattern for decades without success. There is no pattern. There is only the Wake.
I’ll go first:
Warband Name:
The Gilded Flesh
Formerly known as the 3rd Grand Company’s 7th Millennial once one of the most decorated units in the Emperor’s Children Legion. The name references their belief that mutation is not a corruption but an elevation that Slaanesh is literally gilding their flesh into something beyond human perfection.
Head Canon:
The Gilded Flesh were among the last Emperor’s Children to fall to Chaos during the Heresy not through temptation or weakness, but through deliberate choice. Their Captain, now calling himself Auris the Resplendent, led his brothers in a ritual of voluntary mutation, offering their bodies as living canvases to Slaanesh.
Ten thousand years later they still roam the galaxy, not raiding for pleasure or glory, but as missionaries spreading Slaaneshi corruption through warp-tainted sonic frequencies that slowly mutate populations from the inside out. Entire city populations have woken up with purplish grey skin and new hungers they don’t understand.
The fiend claws that replace their hands are considered sacred the first gift Slaanesh gave them. Higher ranking members display turquoise mutations around joints of their magenta coloured armour, which the warband considers a mark of divine favour rather than rank.
They still hold formal ceremonies in the ruins of whatever world they’ve just corrupted. Old Legion traditions, performed with mutated hands, in rotting golden halls. The nobility is still there just wrong.
We all know how effective it is to drive the story further. Taking revenge against the BBEG, or the ‘find a cure for our curse’ trope.
What was the most effective method of one of your campaign?
Im stil feeling it, calling it now.
So she gets included in the Unending Swarm detachment.
Additionally her abilities should work on hormagaunts and gargoyles as well.
And im loving. I’ve collected tyranids and genestealer cult for decades and this faction feels very fresh. I love the magenta colour for their armour and planning to buy the combat patrol and codex next!
Can’t wait to see how they play on the tabletop
We currently have two mono kit primes. Both solely melee, is it that difficult to give them a ranged option?
Hello fellow xenos,
I have a question regarding tactics. I have a friend who plays Chaos Space Marines, Andre love to have big tough units on the board. So im forced to bring some high S and AP as well. However in our last three 2k point games im having difficulty with getting my melee guys across without being blown to pieces.
How do you prevent your carnifex, screamer killer, warriors to be shot down before they reach their target? I tried to keep the infantry stuff inside terrain for that extra defense but nonetheless they were a mere bump when they reached their foe
Since 11th doesnt seem likely to do it, well have to take matters into our own hands
