I'm so bad at this game
Reddit is quickly becoming unusable. I remember when Facebook did this, which is how I ended up on Reddit in the first.
Now, when you back out of a post, you cannot return to your feed. You are forced to refresh. So if you saw TWO interesting posts that you wanted to read, I hope you remembered what the title was so you can manually look it back up, because the back button won't take you back anymore.
I don't understand the point of this kind of enshittification. The idea must be to drive you towards their data siphoning app so that they can steal even more of your privacy away from you and sell it at a profit premium.
I hate what the internet has become. I usually come to Reddit so that I can try to turn off my brain for a little while, but now that it is another place to become enraged and infuriated, there's no point in coming here anymore.
I guess it's just time to get off the internet entirety.
Hi friends
This is my second year making springtime spruce syrup. I took my inspo from several different sites but the recipe I'm following is from the forager chef. I'll link in comments.
Basically it just says to throw some water into the proto syrup - 1\2 cup water for 2.5 cups of sugar and tips.
I had active fermentation for the first 2ish days. Now the jars are inert and as the sugar has dissolved I'm left with a lot of air in the jars.
I'm about 2 weeks into the process now. Some recipes call for the jars to be in the sunlight (forager chef) while others say they should be in a dark pantry.
My house hovers around 68-72°F, high elevation, dry climate.
Does any one have experience or information they can share? I'm concerned about botulism
Hello, I have had my Discover It credit card for about 8 years now with a limit of only $3k USD.
It was my second ever card after a secure one when I was initially building credit. My score is now about 810.
I don't use this card much as to keep the usage below 10%. It's my lowest limit card but has the best rates. I would like to use the card more. Every year I ask them to please raise the limit so that I can use it more, and every year they deny me saying that I don't use the card enough.
I got frustrated this year and put a major medical bill on the card and almost maxed it out this month. I'm considering just closing it even though that won't help me in the long term, but I'm just so frustrated with these people. What do I have to do to make them raise the limit and make this an actually useful card?
I really like this face cream but I HATE the packaging. It seems designed to waste product; the only way to get it out of the odd corners and sides is to get it all under your nails. They've also started keeping this product locked up behind glass and I just cannot be arsed go find a store associate to please give me permission to buy the things that I would like to buy please.
I've tried a couple other facial creams, but none seem to give me the same firming and moisturizing benefits as this one. What do you like to use on your face? Bonus points if it has a higher SPF, my doctor recommended that I wear SPF 50 everyday but I haven't found one that I really like
Most of the high SPF facial creams that I found feel like paste, and don't spread on to my face easily. Please help!

Trying to capitalize on our short spring season, gotta bottle that sunshine up for later!
This is a fun and easy recipe. I like to use it as a gift. It tastes a lot like honey. Really lovely in a cup of chamomile 🐸☕🌼
My 20lb 17 year old domestic shorthair neutered male just had the 2nd half of his teeth removed. I have been given liquid metacam, gabapentin and an antibiotic.
I'm struggling to administer the meds.
Cat is swollen and has sutures in his mouth. He's sweet but strong and uncomfortable and fighting me.
What methods and positions should I be using to restrain him? What syringes or tips(?) for them can I purchase to make this easier?
I expected a slim curved tip on any of these syringes but I was given short fat nubby syringes. I have to stick the whole syringe deep into his mouth in order to get it to the back of his throat, and he is not allowing this. I'm not even sure if he can open his mouth that wide with the sutures right now.
How does one do this? I live alone.
And save the bugs!!!
Or other solutions, if tape has fallen out of favor?
I wanted to make a station based off the song pleasure pen by Nancy, but for some reason, the app is not allowing me to make any radio stations based on any songs by the band Nancy, even though I can make stations based on other music. What gives?
