[29F] When will this agony end? When will I stop missing my situationship?

It’s been eight months since we last spoke. He’s blocked everywhere and got married. I’m still stuck on him. Not a single day goes by without me thinking about him. Some days it’s just anger, other days it’s sadness and then there are days when it’s like an ick that won’t go away. The three years we were together were a mess and I would never want to be in that situation again. He will never be allowed near me but it’s still not getting normal. I’m so tired and just want to get over it. Any advice on how to live away from this agony?

[29F] How can I to forgive and forget him?

I was in a situationship with a guy for almost three years. I know it was pure stupidity; we both have attachment issues. I have anxious attachment and he was avoidant. It was a match made in hell. He was always very disrespectful and inconsiderate towards me. He was actually cruel, always breadcrumbing until the time he got married. He wanted to continue this after him married. I blocked him everywhere. The worst part was that we were good friends and he started pretending that I was after him, delusional. I don’t feel the same for him, but I have this insane amount of anger that I don’t want. The truth is, I don’t want to waste any energy on him. I just don’t know how to make peace with the fact that people like him exist, break other people’s hearts and move on to have a happy life.

Not married by 30 is a crime in Indian society

Today a little bit of my heart was broken again. I am 30F and is looking for a right partner and it is taking time but the social circle of my parents are desperate and I would say toxic. We just came back from a vacation and my mum loves sharing her pics on fb but when I asked why she is not sharing she said people are commenting on her pics like - “you seems so free no worries about our kids’ marriage”. My dad doesn’t even feel like going out in his social circle because everyone is asking when I will get married.
Worst with my social circle people who are same age as me asking when I am getting married.
My office colleagues literally said that I am only “left”
who is not married.
So recently I had a health diagnoses - it could have been cancer terrible 3 months( thank god! It was not) we were going out to meet the doctor and my neighbour uncle was asking if we were going for wedding shopping. It broke my heart and the look my parents had. I hated myself for being so choosey about my life partner.
Truth is for me it is the most important decision and for me age will not be number but seeing these situations makes me just feel like a loser.
I am so done with this so called well wishers.

Why our parent’s generation is so emotionally dead and frustrating?

I am tired of my parents’ generation. I feel they are wired to make you frustrated. From childhood, you have to focus on studies, totally missing mine in books and academics. After getting into a good college, a good job, a better package, then marriage and children. It’s like everything in life has to follow a sequence, and if you don’t, the whole generation will be after you to make you “remember” that you are behind or not good enough. But the most hypocritical thing is they have not done the same thing. They never spent their childhood buried in books and prepping. They got government jobs, have a stable career, got married, and most of them spent most of their time complaining about their spouse. They raised their children emotionally unavailable, gave them childhood trauma, but still, they just want to leave us alone. Every stage of my life, I feel so frustrated.
Any insight how to make a peace with them and just don’t get worked up every time.

I am tired of being the strong independent one in every relationship.

Hey, I’m a 29-year-old financially independent woman who handles everything by myself – bills, healthcare, taxes, career and health. This has given me self-reliance and immense confidence. However, I feel people around me are taking advantage of that by delegating their responsibilities to me. For example, I’m expected to book all the health checkups for my father, even though my father and elder brother are quite capable to take care of it. If we go on a family trip, I’m responsible for finding hotels and logistics because my family comments I have very high standards and whatever they book I won’t like it so they don’t even put any effort on it. Most of the time, I feel it’s better to stay alone at least I’m just taking care of myself. I’m just tired of being both a man and a woman for everyone.

Would you date your ex’s colleague?

I have to go on a date with a guy who works in the same office as my ex. I’m quite hesitant because I had a very bad breakup and went no contact with him, blocking him everywhere. My main worry is that my ex will find out and I certainly don’t want him to have any information about me. Secondly, if we do get into a relationship, I’ll be constantly on edge about his work conversations and gatherings, just in case the ex shows up. On the other hand, I’m worried I’m overreacting and making this much of a big deal than it is. Any suggestions are welcome!

Need help to knock some sense in me. I am feeling weak and may gonna break no contact

Me and my ex went no contact 6 months ago. I blocked him everywhere because he was getting married to someone else and wants to be “friends”with me. It was not possible for me. Since then I am in no contact with every one of our common friends also. I have no idea if he is married now. I was doing fine but lately I have started looking into his profile pictures just messaging app not social media yet. I need someone to put some sense in me. He treated me like doormat. He manipulated and disrespected me in every way possible. I don’t want to go back to this rabbit hole again. You can be as brutal as possible. Thank you!
