How it is ?
I don't speak to the waves,
I don't envy the shadows.
I don't run away from the moon,
I just get lost in the wind.
Silence feels like a voice,
Loneliness feels like a secret.
Every night I ask myself,
Why do I still smile after breaking?
An unfinished dream lives in my eyes.
I walk on dark roads alone.
I don't know my destination,
I just change with time.
My own dark fantasy novella: I'd like feedback on whether the premise is compelling enough to keep reading.
Hi everyone. This is my own work, and I'm looking for feedback on the premise rather than trying to market it.
I've written a dark fantasy novella called The Veilborn. My goal was to create a story focused on identity, sacrifice, and a cursed kingdom rather than relying only on action.
I'm interested in honest opinions on a few things:
- Does the premise sound original or too familiar?
- Does the blurb create enough curiosity?
- Would the opening concept make you read the first chapter?
- Are there parts that sound confusing or overloaded with fantasy terminology?
If anyone is willing to take a look, here's the Amazon page:
I finally published my first dark fantasy eBook – I'd love your honest feedback
Hi everyone,
After spending months writing, editing, and redesigning, I finally published my first dark fantasy eBook, The Veilborn.
It's a story about ancient powers, forgotten kingdoms, betrayal, immortality, and a protagonist forced to uncover the truth behind a mysterious veil that separates worlds. If you enjoy atmospheric fantasy, lore, and character-driven adventures, it might be something you'd like.
I'm not here to spam or chase sales—I genuinely want honest feedback from fantasy readers. If anyone decides to read it, I'd love to know:
- Was the story engaging?
- Did the world-building work?
- Which character stood out?
- What could I improve in future books?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Every review and piece of constructive criticism helps me become a better writer.
Looking for an unforgettable fantasy book recommendation
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a fantasy novel that completely pulls you into its world. I enjoy epic world-building, memorable characters, mysteries, ancient kingdoms, magic, dark themes, and emotional moments. I don't mind if it's a long series or a standalone novel.
Some things I'm looking for:
- Rich world-building
- Strong character development
- Unique magic system
- Plot twists that are genuinely surprising
- Dark or mysterious atmosphere
- A satisfying ending (or a series worth committing to)
I'm open to both popular and underrated books. If you could recommend just one fantasy book that you think everyone should read, what would it be, and why?

In the kingdom of Crohn’s, war is not remembered as history. It is remembered as hunger, smoke, and names carved into broken stone.
The story begins on a battlefield after a brutal war. Bodies lie across the mud, banners burn in the rain, and among the dead wakes a young man named Aaryan. He is not a soldier of this world. He remembers another life — a normal life, a sister, a city, a home — but now he is trapped inside the wounded body of Prince Kael of Crohn’s, the hated heir of a collapsing kingdom.
At first, Aaryan believes it is a dream. But the pain is real. The blood is real. The rusted sword in his hand is real. Around his wrist is the only thing that feels like his own — a blue strip of cloth that reminds him of his sister. He does not know how it came with him, but it becomes his anchor.
Crohn’s is ruled by King Vaelor, a cold and paranoid ruler who believes power must be protected through fear. The kingdom’s symbol, The Iron Crown, represents strength, but to the people, it has become a sign of cruelty. Prince Kael was known as arrogant, violent, and dangerous. So when Aaryan wakes inside Kael’s body, everyone sees him as a monster he does not remember becoming.
Inside the palace, Aaryan begins hearing another voice — Kael’s memories. They do not speak like a normal person. They come in broken flashes: blood on marble, a girl crying behind a veil, a forbidden chamber under the throne, and a word whispered again and again — Veilborn.
The Veil is an ancient force th
