Why do people often act like the entire Scary Movie franchise is a parody of Scream, when most movies in the franchise are parody of other movies/franchises?

I think it's funny that old Mermaid Man was voiced by Ernest Borgnine, and young Mermaid Man was voiced by Adam West, considering both of them were old in real life
When the 2025 Superman movie was about to come out, some people on the internet complained about Guy Gardner being ugly, and i find that ironic, because in most of his comic book appearances, Guy Gardner IS portrayed as ugly
When the first Minions movie was coming out in 2015, one thing that felt weird to me was that the protagonists were three minions who weren't Dave, because since Dave was always treated as the main minion in the first two Despicable Me movies, him not being the protagonist felt weird to me at the time
Why do i frequently see people claiming they had a crush on Sheila as a child, but i never see anyone claiming they had a crush on Diana? I actually think Diana is prettier than Sheila
When the Reds and Blues ended up in Chorus and thought they were stranded, why did they get angry at Epsilon for going away without saying goodbye, but not Carolina?
I think the "Congo" review is pretty funny to watch nowadays, because it came out in a time where Critic didn't idolize Tim Curry yet, he even praises Ernie Hudson more than Tim Curry
Why did Miley always claim Jackson was a terrible brother when that was blatantly not true? I actually think he was a much better sibling to her than she was to him
I think it's interesting how he would always play characters who were literal children when he was a teenager
Why is most school fiction anti-bullying, if most people in real life are pro-bullying?
I am gonna tell you guys a funny story: In 2013, during recess, a female friend of mine started talking about Ariana Grande, so i mentioned the character of Cat from Victorious and Sam & Cat, to which she replied "who's Cat?", and i said "Cat from Sam & Cat", and she said "i don't watch that shit", and that made me extremely confused, because at the time i wasn't remotely aware Ariana Grande had started a non-Nickelodeon music career, so the idea of someone being interested in Ariana Grande but not being interested in the character of Cat felt extremely confusing for me

In the first live action movie, in the scene where Cosmo and Wanda turn into humans, Cosmo was played by Jason Alexander, but i personally think Stephen Baldwin would have been a better fit
One thing i really don't like about Sonic SatAM is the fact Sonic literally has to be convinced into saving Antoine's life, which doesn't seem in line with most versions of the character
Why do conservatives complain about Domino being portrayed as black in the movies, but not Blind Al?
There were some cases when i was in my early to mid teens when i would realise the person was being sarcastic, but take their sarcasm to a much more extreme level than they intended, allow me to explain: I would tell the person a fact the person wasn't interested, and the person would reply "this changed my life" sarcastically, but here's the thing: Because the person was sarcastically saying "this changed my life", i would assume the person was COMPLAINING that i didn't change their lives, so i assumed the person was desperate for their lives to be changed, and that they would spend 24/7 avoiding learning any info that wouldn't change their lives
Why are people so amused by the fact Neil Patrick Harris is gay and plays a lot of straight characters, when that could be applied to A LOT of actors?
Many people claim the character of Arnold remained eight years old throughtout the entirety of the show, but that is not actually true, cause they mention multiple times in the final season that he is thirteen
I saw a guy on the internet claiming Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory is an even more stereotypical conservative than his mother, and i find that statemente ironic, because he did once call her a "right-wing texan" in a derogatory manner
