Messed up post in a city subreddit I follow

They think we all go to church, like we need religion to have morals. Killing your own child is not a “reproductive“ right, it’s wrong. I also do contribute to existing children, I take part in toy drives, regularly volunteer at soup kitchens and donate money to organizations that support children in need, especially those overseas in war torn countries.

Thank you all for participating in the sub! Some say this sub is losing popularity or slowly dying but our numbers show the opposite. I took over this sub when it had just over 1k members and we’ve grown significantly since!

Heated driveway recommendations

I’m looking to get my driveway ripped up and redone quickly before the snow hits. I want to do a black and white brick design and run pipes underneath for heating and connect my walkways to it. Any recommendations?

Anyone in here a professor for a trade program in a college?

I’ve been a part time college welding instructor in Ontario for around 2 years now and I’ve just moved into doing it full time for the winter semester. Is the switch from part-time to full time teaching a hard adjustment?

With the groups of kids coming in lately, I’m not very excited for it. I’ve had a few who’ve completely destroyed their machines and so many of them can’t think for themselves.

Y’all are spicy this evening

It’s a hilarious song. Give it a listen

Crying to teacup about this also won’t help. Her humour is darker than mine and also she doesn’t really care about what goes on here unless I ask her to step in for me. She reports to me, not the other way around. Only person who‘d give you whiners the time of day was the mod who left us so you guys are SOL. Now, less complaining, more welding. Chop chop

[Question] Did snap remove the ability to post 1 week stories?

I post my stories so they delete after a week to allow my busier members of family to watch but today the option to change how long I post them for is gone

MPL not getting rid of fee

I got the email that I was fined at 1 am, I returned the book today 15 min before they closed. The fee is still on my account and I don’t want to pay money for a book they have now in their possession. It wasn’t returned months after they fined me, literally wasn‘t even 24 hours after.

should I make another account?

Mod stepping down

One of our mods has decided to step down by the end of this week. Handling reports and issues through modmail will be a lot slower than usual unfortunately until we decide if it’s worthwhile to source a new mod. I wish u/Loose-Painter-4724 the best and while we didn’t agree with many things, I appreciate you for taking the time to take care of this sub.

Any talk about i***gration getting flagged and deleted by reddit

I was over on a skilled trades sub talking about how i***grants are coming over into Canada and taking skilled trades jobs while lowering wages and my comment got flagged and deleted by reddit. I didn’t even speak on it in a negative way, more in a “this is bad for the people who are new” way. The I word is flagging comments and I’ve been able to say so much more without it being flagged at all. I tested it on one of my own subs and that comment got flagged and deleted too. Its not even people reporting it anymore.

Don’t deny a job just because it’s non union!

Lots of contracts are going out to strong non-union companies.

Need a new razor for “down there”

For the past 10 years or so I’ve used the schick Quattro, 4 blades and safety wires. I have a 5 blade razor with no wires but it makes things bloody down there. Recently the replacement blades are getting difficult to find here in canada and they only sell 12 blades with a new razor and I don’t wanna have to change out my razor once a year. (I use one replacement head a month since they’re expensive)

Any suggestions for a replacement? I have very sensitive skin and get ingrown hairs often, even with exfoliating. Im not big on beauty/products and use the bare minimum of stuff so a razor that requires a lot of maintenance or takes a while to shave with is not for me.

Song where there’s a build up with a xylophone and then it kinda sounds like some how to train your dragons/marvel theme.

it’s usually used as a meme song where someone will be like “nothing will go wrong” and then they post a photo of something super unbelievable that happened

Who else is shadow banned on r/markham?

The mods of r/markham have shadow banned me. They claim they haven’t, but my comments and posts only get 1 view. Thats why I made this sub.

You do witchcraft, I think that’s a bigger issue than you hoping women get rid of children for the “right reasons”

Safest 12 seater van

Recently there was a crash near where I live that involved a passenger van. 5 kids died in said crash

I do not have kids yet I do someday want a large family. I’m trying to do research on passenger van safety and I can’t find much. I’m not worried about reliability, I’m very mechanically inclined (I modify and repair almost all of my vehicles and off-road them) but what I truly care about is the safety. I can’t find safety ratings for the ford transit or the express. Does anyone know whats the safest van on the market or how to find the safety ratings on them?

Can I just keep my car registered with a Canadian address?

Im a US citizen, never lived in the US and technically live in Canada. I love my car, never wanna sell it. Can I just keep it registered in Ontario with my parent’s address and have it insured in Ontario since it’d cost a fortune to get it registered in the US? Realistically how would they know it’s in the US
