I failed my interview earlier due to my very bad in English.

almost 1-2 months palang ako nagpaPractice ng English at dahil busy sa part time and full time work as IT at local company sa province, di ako gaano nakakapagrpractice.
7 years in IT work at local almost 10 palang nakausap ko na foreigner at more on Tagalog at hiligaynon ang language ko.

pero earlier nanghihinayang talaga ako, international company (since 1986 company based on Google) nag interview at final interview ko na un.

Anyway my current way to practice my English are watching English youtube channel while doing workout. playing games Microphone are enabled talking to foreign team mates. but alsmost 30mins lang per day gaming ko parang Clear of mind lang kasi gaming. and sometimes talking to my self in english.
Sinubukan ko nga magEnglish sa work ko kaso pinagtatawanan lang ako kasi hiligaynon language dito sasabihan ka pa spokening dollar. or itigil mo na yan. (currently resign narin ako dito waiting nalang ung final day to render)

I want to grow, every interview in the past can be answered with ease if I use Philippines language. Those question or scenario they ask are related to my work and I totally can answer them but I fail to deliver it in English.

Question:
Other than 30mins to 1hour talking to playmates and myself like a crazy person and watching youtube English channel (like linustech, jerryrig, and more English tech channel)
What can you recommend to improve my English?

Ask lang po ng mga Room rent cost sa ibat ibang location sa Manila like Makati, pasig, pasay, quezon and more.

Planning to go to Manila to look for new work.
I'm currently renting room din dito sa province with cost of 3,500 per month No aircon just basic room lang sya ung may AC kasi dito puro nasa 5,000 to 7,000.

Right now I just want to be ready and look for job in Manila (makikisiksik na ko)
Reason: for 2 years salary increase, hindi na justify ung province minimum wage.
almost lagi nalang 30-60 pesos daily lang dagdag per year while sa manila are are reaching 100+ additional ung mga inoorder ko sa online na mga vitamins, daily needs galing din manila may dagdag pa na shipping fee, isama pa ung ibang gulay like cabbages na galing pa bagiuo.

How to clean your watch?

I have Huawei watch gt4 2023 and this thing is still pretty useful to me.
I use it as silent alarm in my hand, reminding me if I sit for hours without standing, and do quick music connect to earbuds.
But now the speaker look like have a lot of mud, the rubber has some dirt too.
By the way, I also use it during cycling, even in heavy rain.

It's nearly 3 weeks for job hunt but I received a lot of decline due to my current location. should I just quit at my Job and transfer to Manila or should I keep looking?

Problem/Goal: I'm currently employed as Technical Support and Sales Representative for 7 years at small company here in province (Western Visayas) and this company are gonna close this year (Only these branches where I assign), they just waiting the building contract to end just to avoid the penalty.

Right now I'm looking for new company but want much higher salary where my expected lowest is at least 20,000 per month and I'm trying the Manila.

I already received lot of interview's and some email but I decline most of them cause their offer is 16,000 or 17,000 with less benefits, or some decline me and worst other's just emailed me without interview for the reason my Location are Far from Makati, Pasay, they required start ASAP, or interview must attend in person.

Now, I'm thinking. is it worth to risk my current job that only time count before it close and go to Manila to try my luck? with 1month savings only and still got lot of debt. or should I wait?

(Sorry for my Grammar, feel free to correct me as I'm practicing it right now, and the reason why I posted it here in English)

Sorry if not related to post but I'm Really Desperate.

I live in province at Philippines. I've been a computer technician with different work, and I'm currently looking for new job opportunity hoping and trying my luck here.
Again sorry if not related post.
My Salary here in province if convert to USD is around $9 per day or 8 hours of work per day. I'm Currently looking for better opportunity Remote or Onsite but hoping for sponsorship to relocate at onsite opportunity.
My salary are not enough that I need to do some side gig, (it is legal like going to client house to diagnose their device problem)

I've been working for more than 8 years and the salary increase are pretty slow compare to price cost here in Philippines. the sample cost here is 2 galloon of clean water are worth $1. and 1 burger here cost $1, compare to my salary, $9 for 8 hours.

What are my common task right now is Installing and setup new Workstation, system Unit, printer, CCTV, basic network, Laptop,
I also diagnose them incase of having problem during warranty period.
For my free time I do basic Video editing, exploring Virtual machine (cause it looks fun, freedom to do what ever without affecting main Unit) and some Gaming.

Again sorry if its not related. but in this crisis in oil, the crack are showing in my funds. it showing what I earn in the past are enough for small meal without saving and now it becoming worst.

I'm willing to accept virtual interview. I'm willing to accept some challenge to prove my skills, I'm also gamer since 2012.

I don't want to lose my current build but if got no choice, the possibilities of selling is high. This current unit I have are my 2nd unit that I build since I got my job. and the 1st high end and dream I got.

PS. my English is beginner level but I'm trying my best to enhance it.

A quick reminder for Builders, Never ever cheap out your PSU to protect your investment.

Cheap PSU has lacking of protection like Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) and Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), cheap PSU lacked these, meaning it allowed dirty power straight into your hardware instead of shutting itself down to protect them.

Voltage Spikes: The PSU likely delivered a sudden surge of high voltage directly down the 12V or 5V rails, frying the delicate silicon.

Severe Ripple and Noise: Cheap units fail to smoothly convert AC power from your wall into clean DC power for your computer.

I'm currently looking for new job and not sure if I searched the right role for me. JPMorgan emailed me that I am listed in their pooling pipeline, and got curious what position it might be.

I have Experience as a Sales Technician. Most of my tasks are mostly assisting customers to help them purchase Laptop, desktop and other computer parts that will fit to their daily use. I'm also a technician where I diagnose any warranty products like Laptop, printer, CCTV, system unit and other computer peripherals. I'm also doing maintenance on the current branch of the company where I do maintain Network stability, CCTV configuration, cashier working station, printer and common system units. I'm also certified engineer of Lenovo where I can repair and replace parts such as Ram and motherboard if its in under warranty period.
JPMorgan emailed me that I'm in their pooling pipeline so I searched what possible position it will be. and these are the AI result.
Do you think it is accurate?

I asked some AI and the result is
Workplace Technology Technician / Desktop Support Technician,
Tech Bar Engineer / IT Help Desk Specialist,
IT Infrastructure & Network Operations Associate.

I have 7 years of experience in my skills but I will count my self as entry level cause I'm employed at small company, but I want a little above minimum from NCR. cause my Friend in the past got accepted at some foreign company where the salary is around 20,000 php and mine are just around 60% of that at that time. well He is good at conversation at English while I still struggling to do it. but right, I guess my skills can cover it.

i only have around 1-2hours free per day as i do 1-2 hours of workout daily before and after Office work. any suggestion will do.

Im currently at iloilo City and im looking for better opportunity and im also willing to travel.

i received this message hours after the final interview. yes i feel 1st and 2nd interview really interested in me they got lot of question i answered, lot of required during works align to me and my skills but during 3rd where they asked my expected salary, that final interview really feels something cause interviewer said their budget is around 16,000 for my current location while my minimum is 20,000.
I have 7 years experience in IT where i troubleshoot Computer, Network, Printer and managing IT Equipment's (In 1 branch only), i also do Sales associate where i assist customers and my salary is around 15,000 which is around in province rate. so im looking for better opportunity, im willing to travel to manila but i have tight budget and i know manila has 1 of the worst traffic here in PH.
I still want to stay at iloilo cause its between city and province life. but i want to grow but the opportunity are at Manila and also lacking of funds to stay at manila.

Question, should i lower my minimum or maintain?

Here is their message.
"After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we will not be moving forward with your application. While we were impressed with your background and the strengths you demonstrated during the interview, we found that your current salary expectations do not align with the compensation range we are able to offer for this role at this time."

I finally did it. i report my Employer to DOLE.

I was hoping they didnt contact employer 1st cause i want DOLE to confirm all my report and proof 1st but they contact the employer which confusing cause i didnt provide my employers contact number. but anyway andito na tayo sa situation. ngaun tumawag sa akin employer talking for agreement, which ok sa akin maganda ang offer para wala ng gulo.

Peaceful resign, can resign anytime without waiting for 30days notice, pay 1month + Plus some incentives which i ask. but they response they cant compute it.
So napapaisip ako panu un wala akong kasiguraduhan sa computation ng incentives nila?

Quick background been employed for 7 years, reason of resigning. Unpaid Overtime, with harsh call previously by telling if i didnt attend unpaid fire drill, then i should not report to work next day which i dont have choice but to attend on it i just keep proof only. i also negotiate that day if early out instead of overtime but declined. (Actually pinabayaan ko na to kasi 1 time lang nangyari pero possible may upcoming pa in future)

What trigger me to report them is
during my lunch break ung suddent meeting na pinaAttend ako. plano ko naman umattend kahit biglaan sabi ko lang naman wait. kumakain pa ko, pero nagmissunderstand ata tapos nagstart sila ng Meeting at during lunchbreak na un dun ako sa stock room, pinakita ung image ko during lunchbreak ko which affecting my privacy. at the same day removed ung accommodate ko without proper explanation. di manlang pinakinggang ung side ko. and at the same day nagPost sila ng Hiring sa page, same position and same branches? tapos ngaun sinabihan ako baka nagOverthink lang daw sa post?
Panu di magOverthing timing ung nangyare lahat. same day removal of commodity which during interview verbally kasama sya, tapos biglang hiring?

So what do you think i should do?
Should i pursue the calculation and if amount is good then accept?
Should i just accept?
or proceed to DOLE?

Im currently Striving for success but im doing it alone.

Im currently struggling at my debt right now. also on low paying job due to its Province Rate salary, right now im looking for high paying job while studying and upskilling and what i saw is AI Automation which is im trying Zapier and make, and also Jira cause my skills are on IT support.

My Co-Working keep laughing of me never believing anything this AI or upskilling and im just wasting my time. im tired of them i want to work without their comments but at the same time i want to prove them.

I try applying of different job too. but most of those job required me living at manila which seems a little difficult cause they dont provide relocation assistance.

Im slowly losing hope but at the same time wanting to finish this challenge hoping atleast those province manila rate barrier will be removed. i mean cost of living are same and sometimes much expensive here in province cause some vegetables from manila has higher price due to its travel cost.

If anyone can recommend me some company that hiring an IT Support, except BPO cause as you can see my english are not enough for them, those BPO companies require fluent in English.
