How do you clean your aligners?

I use a toothbrush and water but I was wondering if there’s tablets that can be used which won’t damage them aligners? Seen some online about this and would love to try if you have any recommendations?

Can aligners cause chips?

I got aligners these past few months and I’m sure I’ve got chips in places I didn’t before. Can they be shaved down to smooth out or? What would happen?

Dentists do you do treatment when they have aligners ?

I have a general dentist (in UK) who I’m seeing tomorrow and I’ve got aligners from somewhere else. Tomorrow is a check up but I already know I need fillings etc (can see holes in my teeth etc) so was wondering can my dentist do work on my teeth whilst I’m using aligners?

What do Care-Cordinators actually do?

I have been under a care coordinator since December 25, initially seen every 4 weeks and then every 6 weeks, but I have requested a change as I do not feel the support has been effective or that my needs are being properly addressed. I am experiencing ongoing difficulties with emotional regulation, where small issues can feel very overwhelming and my emotions can escalate quickly, and I struggle significantly with ADHD-related executive functioning, including starting and completing tasks, maintaining routines, and staying organised. This is affecting multiple areas of my daily life, including basic self-care such as showering and brushing my teeth, as well as cleaning and maintaining my home; I have not been able to deep clean my room in years and it has become very difficult to manage, including issues such as damp. I also struggle with maintaining hobbies, managing money due to impulsivity, and keeping stability in relationships. I have had a mental health support worker assigned, but this has not been helpful, and I was told a referral for a therapy assessment was made but I have not received any updates or progress. I also feel I have not received meaningful support for ADHD-related difficulties or practical help with daily functioning, and I am now also wondering whether some of my difficulties may include autism-related traits such as sensory overwhelm, rigidity with routine, and restricted eating patterns. Overall, I feel my functioning and mental health are worsening rather than improving, and I am struggling across emotional, practical, and daily living areas without effective support in place.

GP won’t refer me for titration under right to choose for medication due to ICB yet the current one I’m under is also not supported by the ICB?

Was diagnosed by clinical partners back end of last year and on their waiting list for titration. Wanted to be referred to Health Harmonie Minds but got told no with my GP due to ICB but ICB also doesn’t support Clinic Partners? How does any of this make sense???

What made you think you had autism?

Have some symptoms where I think I might get it but of course I’m not sure and would need a proper assessment

Any right to choose titration options?

I’ve had a diagnosis last year and GP refuses to refer me again for reassessment apparently I don’t meet the criteria as I’ve already got the diagnosis. I just wanted to check if there was any options which will provide you with medication under right to choose if you already got a diagnosis?

Current place is looking to give medication after 2 years+ but I’m struggling every single day

Can you see the gaps?

I wear aligners (mild) with smile white and my teeth have been straighter but I’ve been getting gaps and cracks lately and I’m not sure if it’s because of the aligners or because I have more decay. I’m not really sure I can’t go to my general dentist until my treatment is over which isn’t for another 4 weeks. Can anyone advise how I can prevent the gaps and cracks from getting worse?

Anyone know how to remove hair dye from carpet?

I black boxed dyed my hair not sure how it came on the floor to be honest assuming it was due to water from my hair or something. I’ve tried vanish oxi action and it’s not helped. Tried hairspray. I really don’t want to replace a whole carpet and am hoping there’s something out there. Anyone have any tips?

Do I get the haircut or not?

I 27 (F) have wavy hair and have had it since I was about 16 and it’s not been as wavy as I’ve been using my straightener. I want to have a wavy haircut but I’m a bit worried I’ll regret it. I’ve never really learned to style my wavy hair as gels/mousse/curl cream have caused it to be sticky. I have quite fine hair. I really worry they will give me layers etc as I feel like having fine hair it would just make it finer. Really want to embrace my natural hair for the summer though. Would you recommend?

Hi guys, I’m 27F and 5’3. About this time last year I was around 52kg. After a difficult breakup and a period where I struggled to eat properly, I dropped from 58kg down to 52kg. Since then, I’ve regained the weight and more, I’ve just weighed myself at 59.4kg (though this was at night, so I’m probably closer to 58.5–59kg).

My goal is to get back to a healthy, sustainable weight of around 53–54kg by September. I’m now looking for advice on how many calories I should be eating daily to reach that goal in a healthy way, as well as some motivation or tips to help me stay consistent with exercise.
