Is this board cooked?

Tried to replace the switches on my mouse. But when I went to de-solder it, the solder wouldn't melt. Before I take it to a professional to have it done properly, I need to know if the board is still functional.

I'm not sure what it looked like before but the lines look kind of dark but only in certain parts of the board and I'm not sure if that's normal.

TLDR: For those who solder electronics, does the board look cooked to you?

Is this board cooked?

I am trying to replace the switches on my mouse. I did it before; I did a really bad solder job but I did it. I opened this mouse to fix another issue and decided that while I was at it, I would try to change the switches.

This time around though the solder is just refusing to melt no matter what I do. I even ruined the switch that isn't in the pictures, the pictures are of the second switch; the plastic housing of the switch started deforming around the pins before the solder melted. I did manage to get it out eventually though. So I decided to try and be more careful with this one.

Anyway, more heat, more flux, fresh solder, all of it is not working. I've given up and I'm just going to go to a repair shop tomorrow to have someone with more experience do it. Should have done that in the first place.

Looking at the board, I'm seeing some black lines where the connections are. I'm not sure if they were like that originally so now I'm wondering if I accidentally burnt the board...

TLDR: Please help me asses if the board will still function. I might have heated it too much.

Questions for the ballers

I came across a video on youtube about trackball mice and now I'm super curious. I've never even seen a trackball in real life let alone used one. I'm thinking about switching to a trackball whenever I'm not gaming now to try to prevent damage. But I have some questions.

  1. Does it make sense to get one if you're working on a laptop? What I mean is does it offer a significant advantage over a trackpad?
  2. How long do they last? I heard the balls get scratched up after a while and then you can't use them? Or the tracking gets worse? Or have trackballs also improved in quality over the years?
  3. What are some benefits that people don't usually talk about?

Why do americans even put up with HOAs?

Why don't you all just....ignore them?

HOA's seem completely insane even if your country isn't boasting about "freedom" all the time so it seems extra stupid that it's a thing in america. How did it even get to a point where they can force you to pay a fine or serve jail time for making YOUR house look the way YOU want it to?

People that try to resell items for retail price

I like to buy second hand items online, mostly tech. Mostly because of the savings but also because it's more fun than just ordering it from an online retailer; the negotiating, meeting new people, the savings, it's all kind of fun...most of the time.

It kind of annoys me when I see someone list an item that I can easily buy brand new for the same price. It's even worse when they think you're lowballing them, even after you've pointed out that their price is too high for a second hand item.

I get it, it's theirs and they get to decide how much to sell it for. It's just a personal thing because it feels like they're playing the game wrong. It's like playing basketball with someone who refuses to dribble; sure you can just wait for someone to pass you the ball for the shot but it's just...wrong.

Is it just me or is zhonya's a win more item

I think I might be just using it wrong but I feel like zhonya's is significantly less useful when I'm behind. It kind of feels like I'm just cc'ing myself sometimes when I use it.

Or when I'm the only strong one on the team and I hit zhonya's, it feels like I'm just removing myself from the teamfight for a few seconds, which just leads to my team getting blown up.

Idk the item just seems really situational and I've rarely had games where buying it over another damage item has really paid off.

My neighbour keeps connecting to my desktop soundbar

I'm not completely sure it's my neighbour, but nobody in my house watches chinese media so I'm fairly certain.

This soundbar has both bluetooth and wired connection but there's no way to turn off the bluetooth and it automatically switches to the bluetooth connection by default.

I fucked up this ribbon cable. I'm honestly not sure how... Is it possible to get a replacement or fix this one somehow?

I'm usually playing mages like xerath and asol in mid and I always struggle when my teammates are behind. I usually end laning phase ahead but when I press tab I see 2 losing lanes and/or a fed enemy jungle.

Am I supposed to group and play more aggressive? Or do I just try to minimize deaths? I feel like sometimes when I play passive and avoid teamfights I'm holding myself back from the comeback, but when I try to play more aggressive the 0/7 adc or jungler just pops my ass and I lose anyway.
