Thoughts on LTH vs MBRP exhaust?

I want to get an axle-back exhaust for my 2011 GT and like the sound of the LTH axle-back and MBRP Street axle-back, but I thought I'd put the question out to the community.

If you were looking for an exhaust that isn't much louder than stock, has a deeper sound, and doesn't have the bubbly burble sound like some exhausts so, what would you get?

Looking for first 1911, must be made in USA

Howdy, I'd like to treat myself with my first 1911 for the 250th. I have the following criteria:

  • 100% made in USA
  • Made of steel
  • Uses Series 70 design or does not have firing pin safety
  • No accessory rail
  • At/under $1,000

I'd prefer it to have a Series 70 design because the trigger on my KDS9c feels kinda meh and I'm certain the firing pin safety is the culprit.

Bonus question: what's the cheapest 1911 with no MIM parts? Is it even worth pursuing a MIM-free 1911 for my first one?

Recommendations for co-witness sights

I'd like help figuring out what sights will fit my G21 V with 407 Comp optic. I was looking at this Trijicon set but it says the sight height is 0.35-0.36" which I'm not sure is tall enough. There's also all these Ameriglo sets but I'm not sure if I'd need XL, 2 XL, or 3XL.

Anyone have a go-to sight set for optics with high deck height?

Ruger RXM with Vortex Defender ST

I've put almost 1,000 rounds through my RXM and I thought I'd grab a dot to change things up a bit. I decided to get a Vortex Defender ST because it was on sale at Midway with an extra % off coupon on top of the sale so it seemed like a good deal.

What I like about the Defender ST:

  • It didn't cost more than the RXM itself
  • It direct mounts to the RXM slide
  • I think it's the perfect size for the RXM
  • No fuss with recharging, uses coin battery

What I don't like about the Defender ST:

  • The dot itself is fuzzy which makes it look bigger than it should be
  • The perimeter of the window is outlined in the dot reflection

Hotspot on KDS9c grip

Hey guys, I have a question about the KDS9c grips. I like shooting it, but on both sides of the pistol there is a sharp edge of the grip where the thumb safety cutout is and it's a hotspot for me. It digs into my hand and gets pretty uncomfortable after a few mags worth of shooting at the range.

Yeah, I have soft hands, but is there a way to fix this or are there different grips I can install that chamfer this edge?

Recommendations for compact, flat, magnetic flashlights?

I have a very specific product in mind. I'd like to get a compact (think 1x1" or 2x2") flat flashlight with a magnet on the back so I can put it in my gun safe for some extra illumination in the back corners.

Does something like this exist? It doesn't need to be anything special.

Potential buyer

Hey guys, I currently have a '17 Fusion Sport and have been interested in a Focus RS for a while now. I found a nice '16 Focus RS for a good price and with a good CarFax but am hesitant because it's at ~130k miles.

If I go see the car, what should I keep an eye out for? I read through the pinned FAQ thread and there's lots of good stuff in there, but is there anything else I should be aware of?

Hopefully I'll be posting some pics soon!

I was skeptical of the changes to the grip on the Gen 6 because the Gen 5 fits me like a glove, but after getting my hands on one, the changes are perfect. The new texture feels great and the thumb rest is amazing.
