Samantha styling

Samantha styling

I'm rewatching the show and up until this scene in Season 2 episode 1 (this is where I'm at right now), i've felt like there's something off about how Samantha gets styled. I love her in this scene. I feel like she needed more softness in her styling and this scene does it. The way her hair frames her and the softness of her sweater. I wasn't able to screenshot the show directly and i can't find any more photos of this scene, unfortunately.

I know they usually don't go for softness because of how they want to portray her as a badass, business woman, but i don't think it suits her physical features well.

Editing to add:
Her hair looks great here, but i also do even think a soft/light brown would have been better for her overall than the sharp blond she has.
And even her eyebrows are overplucked in a very boxy way that the eyebrows on the rest of the women aren't.

Enjoyed this story that highlights his character and turns out he's a Cap

Sharing this because I had no idea about any of this about Sean Paul and I loved this story. A dude with so much integrity and he's a Capricorn with a few Cap planets, so wanted to share some of this Cap love. I know the video title is super click bait-y.

A little Cancer love ~~~~

Lurking in this sub has helped me understand Cancers more. I'm a Cancer, but i haven't met a lot or been close friends with any to understand the archetype more than how it manifests for me. So I've been appreciating the Cancer archetype more and lo and behold I met a couple of great Cancers last night (just meeting Cancers is rare for me).

So this post is mostly to show my appreciation for us. <3 :)

Must watch - Juneteenth episode of House Guest

Watch the latest episode of House Guest on Spotify - it's hilarious and it has Yvonne Orji and Kyla Pratt. So good. It's also on Youtube. (Edited to add where to watch).

Gatherings/parties/get-together styles

I'm curious what you are all like when it comes to planning a get together or party. Just anything around that whole realm.

Do you like to throw parties or events? Do you like to go big or do you keep things pretty simple? How scrappy are you about bringing it together? When you meet with people, are you the one suggesting where to go or are you more a go with the flow, you just want to be invited to the thing? Also, has your approach about this evolved? When and why? Any more details about your style when it comes to events and gatherings, whether formal or casual, are welcome.

What do you all think about Issa's initial approach with Crenshawn?

Do you think it wasn't ok that she took the notes seriously and asked Crenshawn to make adjustments?

Is this a realistic portrayal of what could have happened in real life where the artist decides to totally ignore what is asked of them, do what they want to do, and the person who signed them on ends up completely loving the risk-taking?

How are friendships different for you than relationships?

Do you act differently with your friendships than relationships aside from the differences in physical intimacy? Like, do you confide more in your friendships or vice versa, feel free to share anything and everything that comes up, it's something that people rarely talk about and i'd really like to understand how people relate differently to friendships or don't.

Feel free to share the pertinent aspects/placements that support your perspective/ experience.

The Yearners in Astrology

Edit: the LOVERS in Astrology

Anyone have experience dating someone with both a Water Moon and Venus?

I’m convinced these folks are the ones who are devoted in love, not afraid to be vulnerable and are super romantic. They are chalant when it comes to expressing their love to you. And of course, I’m speaking about the healed ones who’ve done the work! I should add this type of love is not for everyone.. some people may find it too intense or overwhelming but I LOVE IT

To put it simply, they for sure love unconditionally.

What do you think?

Nuface fix

I've seen several posts on here talking about being careful about the Nuface. Granted, microcurrent products freak me out, but I only just now heard about the Nuface fix and tons of videos say it helps with jowls. I saw some excellent before and after results, so I'm curious if people here feel the same about the Nuface fix as the usual Nuface products?

Other signs’ subreddits vs ours

I joined another astro sub and the algorithm also shows me posts of other ones and it’s funny to compare the different vibes after a while.

From the few I’ve seen, ours feels like the most candid and down to earth. Like we’re just here asking questions and supporting each other. Not oh we’re obviously the best sign kind of content or anything.

Update: thanks for the award! 😄

Pattern of labeling Cancers as boring

So I've read several posts and comments recently where air and fire signs talk about how past relationships with Cancers were boring so they checked out. Interestingly, I consider myself extroverted, but I don't mingle a ton with people because I find most people to be too superficial and that is really boring to me. Plus in this day and age, there's more of a likelihood that people are on some kind of phone dopamine or any other addiction deficit. Not to mention trauma and the need for constant dopamine to escape reality. I just feel like this term "boring" gets thrown out too much for how many layers exist for why someone might feel that something is boring.

I mostly just wanted to name this. Feel free to add any insight, just please don't make assumptions about me in the comments. :)

Leaning into my aries placements

I’m a Cancer Sun with an Aries stellium, including rising.

I’ve finally fully accepted that I’m passionate and I move with conviction and most people don’t like that/ can’t handle that and, as a recovering people pleaser, I just don’t care anymore.

And i feel like joining this sub is me leaning even more into it.

I love the Aries archetype. With everything I have going on, I show up direct, energetic, and honest. I don’t play games- I initiate, I bring laughter and energy into my connections, so if people want to be in my life, they have to show a good level of interest, energy, and communication.

Here’s to Aries always keeping it real🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Gemini aspects to watch out for

Edit: I'm not even asking about relationships. Just in general, the energy of being someone they are highly interested in then fizzling out is something I want to avoid. I'm already really good at reading people, but Geminis energy seems to fall through the cracks, which is why I'm asking specifically about Gemini energy here. It's a pattern I've identified with strong gemini placements that I prefer avoiding. So far it seems I should avoid Gemini in all the personality aspects?

So I want to post here because I'm a Cancer and I feel like other Cancers will understand where I'm coming from. In my experience, Gemini suns or strong Gemini aspects and I always have a spark, but they always fizzle out and it's annoying because they always come on very strong, so it's harder to take it slow and be more discerning. So what aspects do you think i should watch out for in terms of aspects that will fizzle out/ be fickle? Definitely Gemini Sun. Should I always watch out for Gemini moons or are they only fickle if in double air? I imagine rising as well, anything else?
