Met someone from this sub 👀

I met my Reddit friend at Matheran today after 4 months of talking to each other.

It was so random, and the way I identified him was even more weird 😭 We haven't seen each other or exchanged numbers, but I had seen his pic and bike number. So I arrived early by taxi and was eagerly looking for his bike. After 20–30 mins, I spotted it, followed him to the parking, and pointed my phone at him showing the bike pic 😂 He was lil confused as to why a random girl was showing him a phone screen, but we identified each other.

At first, we were both lil scared since it was my first meet with someone online, but he calmly handled the situation and we started exploring while sharing random-ass stories. At one point, his shoes left us alone 😭 We somehow reached the market looking for a shoe shop, and after reaching the station, the other shoe also broke. Finally, he bought new slippers. That was the most memorable part of the trip lol. RIP your shoes u/Over-Cardiologist738

Aside from that, it was a really nice trip. We enjoyed the journey more than the destination because bas chal hi rahe the, points to cover hue hi nahi 🤧 21k steps in just half a day 😭

Monday, Manager & Family Lore 💀

Pata hai aaj kya hua....

Monday waise hi boring start hua tha, but first half khatam hote-hote sab thoda normal lagne laga.

Aise hi manager sir se baat ho rahi thi aur pata nahi kaise baat unki shaadi tak pahunch gayi. Bas phir sir ne jo story batani start ki, main literally laptop ke saamne baith ke chup-chaap sunti rahi.

Shaadi se pehle unhe ek ladki pasand thi. Unke gaon mein hi, unke ghar ke paas uska ghar tha aur dono ki mothers bhi achhi friends thi. Dono ki kaafi saalon tak baat hoti rahi aur unki mummy bhi unki shaadi ke liye ready thi.

Lekin jab ye baat unke papa ko pata chali, toh unhone seedha mana kar diya.

Reason?

Woh ladki sir se around 1–1.5 saal badi thi.

Sir ne bhi poocha ki ladki thodi badi hai toh kya hua? Tab unke papa ne bataya ki unke khandaan mein agar ladki ladke se badi ho toh shaadi tikti nahi hai.

Sir ne eventually family ki baat maan li aur us ladki ko bhi samjha diya ki woh move on kar le.

Uske baad sir ki shaadi kisi aur ladki se fix kar di gayi. Us time sir employed bhi nahi the, toh unhone family se kaha ki thoda wait kar lo. But family nahi maani.

Toh sir ne shaadi rokne ke liye ek alag hi plan banaya.....socha ki itna unnecessary kharcha karwa denge ki shaadi cancel ho jaaye. 😂

But family ne woh bhi somehow manage kar liya.

So eventually sir ki shaadi ho hi gayi.

And according to him, ab woh apni wife ke saath happily married hain, family bhi achhi hai.

BUT THEN COMES THE PLOT TWIST.

Jis ladki ko sir shaadi se pehle pasand karte the…

Kuch saal baad uski shaadi sir ke bade cousin ke bete se ho gayi.

Matlab…

Jiske saath sir kabhi khud shaadi ke sapne dekh rahe the, woh eventually unki bahu ban gayi. 💀

Monday ka din boring start hua tha, but bhai ne toh full family-drama series ka plot suna diya. 😭

TL;DR: Manager ko shaadi se pehle ek ladki pasand thi, but unke papa ne mana kar diya kyunki ladki 1–1.5 saal badi thi. Manager ki shaadi baad mein kisi aur se ho gayi, aur ab woh happily married hain. Plot twist: jis ladki se woh kabhi shaadi karna chahte the, kuch saal baad uski shaadi manager ke cousin ke bete se ho gayi

....matlab woh ab unki bahu hai. 💀

Caught my boss's "babu moment" 😭😭

Aaj apne boss ke cabin me kisi kaam se gayi thi, tabhi unki wife ka call aaya. Unhone bina soche speaker pe daal diya

Mam ne pucha "khana khaya?" sir bole "nahi abhi" phir mam ne bola "kyu babu?" 🤭

Bas "babu" sunte hi sir ekdum awkward ho gaye, jaldi se bole "jra kaam me hu, baad me baat karta hu" aur call cut kar diya, kyuki main wahi khadi thi na

Unke shaadi ko almost 11 years ho gaye hai but it was funny to see ki Mam Sir ko babu bolti hai 😅
