2000+ WL for 2-man team RTS in 3 months
We announced our game just over three months ago (March 12, 2026) and we just surpassed 2k wishlists on Steam. We are a small team (programmer + artist) making a Command & Conquer inspired RTS.
I wanted to quickly share some of the moments that have caused our bigger wishlist spikes.
- March 12: Announcement Trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyTanPDMSfY
- This performed poorly on YT, but pretty well on X and Reddit
- YT short on March 21 did pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2nE4ecyXWUQ

- Other YT shorts:
I also post on X on a weekly basis, and multiple Reddit forums every two weeks ish. Im also slowly creating a large RTS content creator list that I will eventually reach out to when we have a demo in the works (long time from now).
