i remember a bit back when i first joined this sub someone made a post asking to be kind to factkins as the community is already small enough - since then i still have not come to understand what a factkin is (or wether its a 'good' thing or not) and i am rather confused, might anyone be able to help me understand :3?

Ok so in the yumeshipping community there is a term mirrorsharing for when wether or how you share your f/o's depends on the other person, but in fictionkin im like that with my kins, i mirror how they feel about doubles, when i see a person who kins a character i kin, if they love doubles, I LOVE DOUBLES, if they dont like doubles, in that moment im not gonna like seeing them as a double. generally as a constant baseline tho i ADORE DOUBLES like as my base default setting i LOVE LOVE LOVE DOUBLES SM, but when i see someone who is a double and doesnt like doubles then i dont like doubles in that moment either and that stays for like 30 mins after interacting or so- so like is there a term or do i have to mske one.

So i am relatively active here i'd say, to the point where i can recognise most users at least, so anyways i noticed that whenever i watched like a commentary video on a situation going on, if its about a game or a show most of the time there is a kin of someone from that on this subreddit so i can't watch the video without thinking about that person who kins the character and if its a negative situation too i feel so bad for the kins from that franchise (obviously though if its something that impacted a real person like horribly such as the pressure situation im gonna be thinking about the victims first and i feel so bad for the victim in that situation, im more so talking about less extreme stuff when i think about the kins of a character). oh and even if its not a situation too and just a silly video about the source or a video from the source i also tend to think about the kins in here, for example i watched a silly tomdadachi idk how to spell it life thing anf someone did like mha characters in there and it was a rlly funny video mainly revolving around the deku mii and like i thought of a user in this sub who kins deku like first thought 😭 bro

YAYAYAYYAYAYAY - and it was more so remembering something another person from source did rather thsn me myself but i still rememberr it so IT COUNTS

i heard that it originated from the kin for fun community to use the word kin instead of fictotype but i find kin a lot easier to use and remember than fictotype but i js recently saw some people were uncomfortable with the term kin, is it still ok for me to refer to my fictotypes as my kins (im not a kin for fun, im genuinely fictionkin)?

So i recently showed my best friend of three years a small 10 second clip of stomachbooks music and then when i was hanging out with my other bsf we learned that she had been talking about each of us to the other one without telling us, and even lying about a few things, but anyways when he was showing me the messages she sent him and one of the ones she sent him said (btw she knows how insecure i have been about my music taste for years) but anyways she said "so i found the artist (my name) has been listening too cuz i recognised the album cover so i decided to listen to the songs and like- its bad- the music is really really bad, her voice is weird and the genre its just different, i dont wanna tell (my name) i hate it but its honestly so bad" the artist she was talking abt here was stomachbook btw, and also imagine saying "its just different" when she literally listens to alternative music, but yeah i feel really sad now, she told me she liked it (stomachbooks music) and then trashed on it behind my back :(. stomachbook has literally been one of my favourite artists and has helped me mentally so much
