Anyone ever actually buy these?

Anyone ever actually buy these?

Liked em a year ago but never bought em, partly cause I couldn’t find them then and the only pair in store wasn’t my size.

Just bought my first car

A 2001 Honda accord, 2500$

“No issues. Not that I know of. I got it in 2019 for my son when he turned 16 and he used it up through college. I’ve had work done on it when it was needed. My son took a job after college in Texas and got a new vehicle so I’m just looking to sell his first car

Last fall:
new rear brakes
Last Thanksgiving:
Replaced engine oil pan gasket
Distributor
Power steering hose
Christmas 2022:
Replaced engine mounts
Replaced radiator
Replaced water pump and timing
Replaced exhaust manifold gasket set
Replaced power steering hose

Starter replaced 2022 at thanksgiving

Tires were at 171,366 miles NYE 2022

Tires were regularly rotated also
Oil changes were with high mileage synthetic”

Thoughts here?

It was 1,500, now 1000$.

I am looking for my first car…

He says
“It runs and drives but it does have a rod knock and it has a new water pump and alternator a little bit of front end damage it has almost zero rust and a clean title I would consider trades”

Thoughts?

He wants 1200$ for it. Worth it for my first car?

Heres what he states.

“I daily drove this car for about nine months before I bought something different. It sat for about three months, but it still starts up and drives fine. It will need a few things to make a decent daily-depending on your standards of course. The exhaust is Loud.
Items needing addressed:
- Battery
- Front passenger window regulator
- AC doesn't work(see more below)
- Alignment may help (I drove it as is)
- Very Small coolant leak from freeze plug (see picture)
- Transmission showing signs of wear
- Rear driver tire leaks air (takes days)
New parts (within 1.5 years):
- All four front ball joints
- Alternator
- AC compressor, dryer, & evaporator
- Tires
- Ignition coil
- Front pads
This car is not nice by any means; yet, I daily drove it in this condition (minus the dead battery). Overall, it would make a decent daily for the price.
Mileage
Transmission
Exterior color
Interior color
Driven 167,999 miles”

Another option..

Posted a Vic last night. This one has been offered for 3k. Red Vic is 3k, 1989, 110k, beige Vic is 2500, 82k.

What’s the move?

Lottery.

I accidentally deleted my other post on these boots, and I wasn’t able to reply to comments anymore. ZephrDragon I did get these in MO.

I’m 18, my first pair of cowboy boots, a day before I had online ordered some Cody James caiman used off of eBay after waiting a year, and repeatedly trying them on at boot barn, then the next day, I saw these gems on Facebook for 225$.

I would like comments to advise me on care and anything I need to know as a new boot owner, especially with elephant. I thought they didn’t fit but then remembered the seller had told me he put big foam inserts in as he didn’t like feeling like walking on concrete, depending on socks these fit well. Elephant I believe is really hard to break in so I’ll hopefully get used to it. Not trying to rub these in, just lucky on my first pair, as my eBay pair arrived today.

Thoughts?

82k, offered for 2500$, worth it? Deciding between this and 1997 towncar with 219k, unfortunately for also 2500. It’s for my first car, so I was looking at the 10 year newer one for safety.

ADDED A SECOND POST

Help!

How much should I pay for this 1997 towncar with 219k? I know another seller offering an 87 crown Vic with 80k for 2500, which is the same as this man wants. I’m going to go look at it soon hopefully, please advise me what too look for!
