A new addition to the collection.

I paid 30 euro for this excellent condition copy of Ascension. Steelbook without any scratches.

I made a hub puller from a junkyard hub.

I demanded the bearing when installing the knuckle. Whining sound between 100-120km/h. From what I can se the red seal is damaged so it's probably it.

New bearing and brake discs so I don't need to look at this for at least 5 years.

New discs and bearing (E91 xDrive)

I need to replace the bearing on my left rear and I want to renew the brakes at the same time.

The bearing is shot, whining sound between 100-120km/h, slightly disappears when going right on a curve. But will this affect the wheel hub runout? I have a new FAG bearing, should I press the old hub in and then check for runout?

To all the "digital only also go on sale" people

All the 2023 titles that sold very well. See what happens when a corporation has complete control over a game’s price and physical copies are practically unavailable or in short supply?

Baldur's Gate 3 is a perfect example. Three years after its release, the price still hasn't dropped below $50. These are exactly the kind of "sales" they talk about. You could get 3 games on the disc or digital because there's competition, accessibility and 2nd-hand market.

Small and red M12 BLDDRC

Yep I got it.

M12 BLDDRC compact drill and 2Ah battery.

First impressions, smells really nice and the plastic molding looks great.

I like the sound of the BL motor, it's quieter than the Bosch but has higher minimum RPM on 1st gear. In terms of length, it's great. I think it would be hard to find a smaller drill that's this powerful.

We'll see how it performs. Maybe I'll buy a 2.5Ah High Output battery for the 3/8" FUEL ratchet.

Many thanks for your help.

The start of my 12V tool collection. Maybe Milwaukee?

First off, hi.
Greetings from Poland to my homies in the U.S. Thanks for the brand new F-35's.

I'm looking for 12V devices. The first tool will be a small drill. A really small one for plastic undebody panels in my cars. This will be my first purchase, so I want to make a good choice so I can stick with a single battery system. I already own a few Bosch Pro 18V tools, but their 12V lineup is ridiculously small. Therefore I'm looking at other manufacturers. The thing is the battery has to fit inside the handle so DeWalt 12V and Metabo 12V are out of the race.

There is a small M12 BLDDRC compact drill for a good price. Around 100$ for only the body. What do you think? I don't know if it's availabe on US market.

In a couple of months I plan to buy a 1/2" impact wrench and a 3/8-inch ratchet.

How to preload suspension? BMW E90 xDrive

So I completed my rear subframe restoration, everything fits nicely and it's time for final assembly. Some bushings require to be torqued to spec at ride hight. The car is on 6T jack stands, I have a big floor jack. Should I just lift the car by the knuckle until it doesn't touch the jack stand? What about the sway bar links? Any advice would be appreciated.

Subframe overhaul update #6

So it's time to put the Touring back together.

Not everything went smoothly, I put the bolt the wrong direction (#10) but it's not a big deal I can always cut it off in the future.

Camber arms are powder coated, I know they're zinc plated from the factory but they looked awful and started to rust.

Tommorow? Driveshaft and brake hoses, maybe I will try to bleed the system and check if everything is ok.

I bought a used Metabo die grinder.

Seller claimed it's faulty, vibrations and strange noise. Paid 40 euro.

The only thing that was wrong with it was the carbide tool (last photo).

I bought a new Pferd end mill and it's working perfect. Could be more powerful but 380W is enough for small jobs.

New webMAN dropped and got MW2 on disc

There was an update last week - version 48q.

And I got Modern Warfare 2 in my language for dirt cheap.

Polyurethane subframe bushings [E90]

I bought a set of polyurethane bushings for the rear suspension of my BMW E90. However, I have a question because the two front bushings fit quite tightly while the two rear ones can be pushed in with only slight resistance. The metal center sleeve is quite difficult to insert.

Is that how it should be?

Seriously OneDrive?

I played CP2077 on my Xbox in 2022 and the screenshots were automatically uploaded to OneDrive. Nice reminder but there are countless other images in my drive 😆

Ordered Honeywell earmuffs and got this.

I ordered VS110 but got the VS120.

Someone at Honeywell messed up. One earmuff is thicker and with different rating. When you search for VS120F it's from a different model.

Zmieniłem pracę i jestem zmuszony nosić okulary ochronne.

Ciężko to opisać.
