It's important to note that when using spores from wild, outdoor mushroom prints for research they will show more contaminants under the microscope, however you will have much higher genetic diversity compared to spores from domesticated cultivars. Small block is still producing on the 4th flush. Got about a half O dried and all flushes combined is 2 oz’s. This is a Maui Wowie iso we made from cloning some monster plins. Letting the genetics run wild on this landrace from Maui.

Going to get a new iso of it going called “B-Xtra-Blue” bc the bluing has been ridiculous on these last couple of flushes.

First couple pics were before full maturity, but I knew it was going to be a show stopper.

B-Xtra is a beautiful strain that features huge caps that crack consistently, with borderline black staining to accompany it.

B-Xtra is an albino B+ we stabilized and had for many years. It’s always been one of my favorites to run and it’s cool to see the different patterns in the cracked caps. The blue effect you see is natural and happens overtime and maturity regardless of bruising.

Condensation built up amazing on the sides and I knew it was going to be a great flush.

This baby just keeps churning. 3 flush and all of them have been great. Already have a bunch of pins coming in for the 4th flush. Loving these genetics.

Been struggling to complete the pollination process here in the heat of AZ. I’ve had a good amount of flowers form and it’s always hit or miss if they have pollen in them at all.
Half the time the flower is essentially sterile with no pollen to collect. And they fail when pollination is preformed by hand. I mist the cactus to keep it cool until the flower opens at which point I stop misting to keep potential pollen dry.

Just gave this one some pollen, so wish us luck. If anyone knows of someone who has completed the pollination in PHX please point me in the right direction 😭.
