What are the venues that are larger and more casual, like a festival?

I have no interest in going to clubs or rooftop bars or the like for EDM. What venues should I pay attention to this summer that have more of a festival vibe? Meaning overall larger amount of space and people, and nothing like bouncers enforcing who gets in. Thanks!

What's the point of being mad over songs "copying" other songs?

I would absolutely love if a group just ripped off Love Dive and made their own version. Would probably sound fire to me. How do people see this as a negative and not a positive that they get more of a type of music they like...?

Imagine a Steph Curry fan being mad that people shoot more 3's now. He's a legend for changing basketball...your group can be a legend for changing the Kpop music scene too.

This caster Tiff has been absolutely killing it

She should at least become a regular Challengers caster. Great energy and acts pretty upbeat unlike the cycnical energy that a lot of casters have.

Will they ever perform Hero again?

I would love if they did a surprise performance of this on their NA tour

Are all the Wonho era songs off limits now or something?

When is the match schedule for Major 3 going to be released?

Breaking Point has some times up, but there is nothing yet on the CDL website. In the past I believe BP has jumped the gun on the times.

REDRED is outpacing all the GG releases in Spotify streams

Normally GG songs do better in streaming, but REDRED has 40 million Spotify streams already. For context, it's already overtaken Catch Catch in streams.

I'm actually shocked at how well Cortis is doing with casual listeners. Good for them.

Obviously it's still early but it was much harder to get tickets last year than for this tour.

I think it's now clear without a shadow of a doubt that KPop is on a decline in the West.

The economic concerns definitely have an impact, but I think that alone can't be the entire story. Mainstream artists still have crazy demand and 1 year really is not that long. Festivals also still have very high demand.

It seems like for groups to have a very well attended tour, they need to have had recent hype (like Aespa last year, or Twice with KPDH). Or just be too big to fail like BTS and BP.

But I think we're regressing to the mean with the groups that are solidly popular. It'll probably be more like pre COVID where arenas don't get sold out.

For both Olivia Rodrigo and Aespa today there are much larger queues than people who actually qualify for the presale...

People join to check prices or see how the seats work, and just waste the time of those who can actually participate in the presale.

It should be checked for before entering the queue to prevent this.

With I-dle canceling the tour due to the arenas being too large, Mamamoo announcing an arenas tour, and Itzy not announcing anything yet (in light of poor ticket sales everywhere), is there a reason they haven't just done smaller venues?

Monsta X is performing primarily in theaters for their upcoming tour, why couldn't other girl groups have done that?

Is there some kind of shame in performing in theaters if you've done arenas in the past? The fact that Nmixx and H2H did smaller venues makes me wonder if this is the case...

There's an image here with numbers that just don't make sense.

Let's use Toronto as an example, it says 3707 available, 7111 capacity, and 65.85% sale rate.

My initial assumption is that sale rate should be 1 - (available / capacity). But that would be 47.87%...?

Ok so let's pretend that by capacity they mean tickets sold...then you would get 65.73% which is much closer but still slightly off?

Why do they seem to mean tickets sold by "capacity"? Why even then is the math off?

I feel like this account is not trustworthy at all based on what I'm seeing...

An I misunderstanding how things are supposed to be calculated?
