So here’s my reasoning: I love a historical vibe as much as I love watches. From researching, this Seiko SOG/MACV watch would very likely have been worn this way…, the date of the watch suggests that a Navy/GI could’ve worn this with the tropic shirt picked up on the way home in Honolulu after a tour…,
When you look at watches that way…they become even more fun…and a perfect unassailable reason for buying: “ but hon! it’s educational…!”. :D
adding a bit of photog flair to the watch pic!
Alaska branded rubber plongée strap…,
made in the USSR, purchased in Ukraine…,
which is better? this one? or the ocean star, in terms of build and presence…,
I’m using the picture of the multifort as a reference only…,
thanks in advance!
Or is there another one you can suggest?

I didn’t choose the usual ‘must have’ watches that are often treated as collection benchmarks…because, well…, I like what I like.
as a result, officially, my collection is often rated mid-tier…,
well enjoy…or not,
the fact it has no text or markings except for the airforce insignia makes this an airforce issued piece!
