I am reaching the end of my ovulation.. or so I thought.. I am craving for some spice now.

I need a very unhinged dark romance book with MMC (21+ but younger than FMC) to be a Dominant and anti-hero. The storyline can be as toxic as it can be. I need a gut-wretching plot. The one that will make you want to strangle him.

So the plot can be power imbalance where the MMC has the power while the FMC is powerless over him. I need it in a University or work setting.

I don't remember the name of the book that I've read before. Ngl, this isn't my cuppa tea but I'm craving for something like this right now hahahahaha

Okay, so a few months ago, I created a post in r/advice that I saw firetruck in my neighboring area. Then, I only stared at them when I should say hi or sth. But my introvert-brain was too stunned so i walked away. They told me to approach them and like flirt a little so i kept that in mind.

Today, I was helping out in the dining room in my worst outfit of the day 😭 when ALL male firefighters saw and drove past my house (my house has an open concept where we can look outside). I was stunned 😭 my family laughed at me when I was standing still.

They told me, "hey, don't you like firefighters? Go say hi to them". I was so embarrassed 😭 and they laughed.

I feel like the world doesn't want me to be with a firefighter 🙃 there's always something wrong with it whenever they passed by 😭

It has been 10 months of me in a dark romance book slump. I don't remember the last time I've read a very bad, gut-wretching dark romance book where we would be flabbergasted by his action towards the FMC or the other people.

I miss the PRE DARK ROMANCE ERA, where dark romance is not accepted in the community, which make the storyline far better.

However, we have so many choices with less romantic feeling in it. There is more "sexual stuff", more funny scenes, less yearning, less power, and more importantly, less desire.

I miss the book where the MMC yearned for FMC so bad, he had to take her for captivity, take her for a blackmail, and forced her against her will.

​

I'm not saying that the books that are released are bad, but I feel like the plot that they created was to make sure it can get published. That is why more unhinged dark romance story can be found on AO3.

Was I looking to find a new book because I have finished all dark romance books already? I think I did read almost all of the darkest, dark romance book. Which make me be in this "dark romance" book slump.

I really love (I keep saying it to people) Zoe Blake's Dark Obsession series and Nina Penicchi's Lemonade. Those books are the only one that has captivated my heart because the yearning and manipulation is strong.

Buffalo 66 by Nessa Barrett. It's a song, if you haven't listened or watched it yet, please do watch it. It will make you cry. It's so toxic and I love it. Anyways, I need the MMC to be toxic, and will be death of the FMC. However, the FMC has attachment issue so she always be a "yes" girlfriend for him. Even if it kills her (mentally, physically, and emotionally) in the process.

I really want a gut-wretching, annoying, heart-breaking, dark romance, psychological book. Please make it as dark as it can. I want the FMC and MMC to be rational to other people but becomes irrational to themselves.

It's my birthday today but I wasn't feeling it... so I decided to celebrate it myself.. but I ended up crying 😂 anyways, congratulations to me for becoming 1 year older but looking 1 year younger thanks to the skincare and healthy lifestyle ☺️
