Good uk supermarket ciders please?

To cut a long story short i love sour beers, new england ipas BUT due to bowel health issues ive been suggested to switch to cider.

I am totally unfamiliar with whats good/bad cider these days!!

I bought on a whim a 750ml aspalls premier cru and a thatchers haze from booths. Both of which i liked and opposite ends of price lol. I also bought some little ponoma cider which i liked but it was from a craft beer shop 35 miles away so obvs cant just go there whenever i fancy a cider

So, what uk supermarket ciders are the least offensive if i want minimal/no sulphites, a hazy/spritzy mouthfeel and not too sparkling?

Anyone else find the last few series of Grantchester a slog?

The past 2 or 3 series of Grantchester to me just feel like a slog. They just havent engaged me.

Yet the likes of last few father brown, boniface, marlow murders, midsomer series ive found enjoyable

Anyone else feel its tailed off?

Three weeks of the Phillips Baristina

I’ve had my Baristina for 3 weeks to replace my beko c5301 and honestly I love it!

I got it for £279 including a milk frother which ive sold for £60 so £219 effectively.

Anyway, i loaded it with a bag of asda extra special java island beans. I wanted to use some cheaper priced beans whilst i got used to operation.
The machine was very easy to setup but it does feel flimsy/plastic especially the water tank.

My first 8-10 shots were ok to good. However and i dont know if its psychological or the machine needs some “breaking in” but subsequent shots seem to have a thicker/almost syrupy feel which is what i like! My beko’s shots were a lot thinner.

Im currently on a bag of lighter roasted beans and to be honest the machine handles the darker ones better.

Anyway, my tuppence on the machine!
