Interested in cerridwen, not sure where to start

I’ve heard the story of cerridwen, I’m really interested in her and feel pulled to her, I just have a few questions.

  1. Is she a goddess?
  2. How to worship her? / what offerings to give her?
  3. Any recommendations of resources on her?

And a kind of unrelated question but, are welsh deities considered Brythonic? I assume they are because when I look them up I get this subreddit but I wasn’t sure.

Thank you for your responses!

Trying to find a divination practice that’s right for me?

I have tried tarot and it doesn’t really vibe well with me, I want to try other types of divination to see what feels right. Are there any Celtic specific types? As I am a Celtic polytheist? Or other nature types? If you have any recommendations, please share, as well as books if you can!

Looking for my religion

I believe in polytheism and that the gods are real, I just don’t know which pantheon I should try to reach out to. I was interested in Hinduism at one point but it felt too distant culturally and I just never felt much of a connection, it’s the same with my ancestral pantheon of the Norse gods. I know it’s something only I can ultimately decide but I would love some advice or ideas! Thank you

Hypothetical faith question

If someone does not believe the Gods exist but still leaves them offerings and prays to them, will they still respond to their prayers? Is believing required for them to answer?

Polytheism and pantheons

How many of you are polytheists & how many of you worship pantheon outside from the Greek pantheon? And how do you view the gods? I’m just curious to know, really interested in the philosophy of Neoplatonism but I don’t have a desire to worship the Greek gods, I am more interested in the God of my ancestors.

Some questions

I’m new to paganism, I started with looking into Greek polytheism because I’m interested in Neoplatonic theology but I feel disconnected from much of the culture and since my ancestors were Celtic (mostly Gaelic and English) I wanted to learn more about this tradition.

1, are there differences between how you worship the gods and how those of other pagan paths do? What are some?

2, is there a concept in Celtic paganism similar to “miasma” from Greek paganism?

3, what are some common beliefs about the afterlife or what happens after death?

4, is there a mystical tradition in Celtic paganism similar to how Greeks have Neoplatonism & the Egyptians had hermeticism? I’m curious about mysticism since before I left Christianity I was practicing Christian mysticism.

5, how are the gods viewed in Gaelic polytheism? Are they like the ancestors of the people? Or transcendent? Or something else?

6, Wht are some books you’d recommend?

I’m new with questions

I only know the very basics of Neoplatonism but what I know so far fascinates me and I just had a few questions to try and learn more.

  1. How would you define Neoplatonism or the goa of Neoplatonism?

  2. What are your religious beliefs?

  3. How do you “practice” Neoplatonism? Is there practices?

  4. What books would you recommend?

  5. How would you describe the main differences between Neoplatonism, platonism, and hermeticism?

Thank you for reading!

Pagans who engage in mysticism?

Hello! I was wondering how many of you guys engage in mysticism / mystical practice like theurgy and believe in union with the divine? And if you have any resources you could recommend? I’m looking into paganism after leaving Christianity and I’m deeply interested in mysticism

Christian looking into other religions

I am a Christian, but recently, I’ve been struggling a lot due to not feeling like God is answering me or even there. I’m trying to look into other religions just to learn more, do you think that it would be wrong to pray to be in gods while I’m exploring? I’m hoping I’d at least can answer from some deity because I’m tired of feeling like my prayers are going unanswered. Also, if you have any suggestions, please comment them or any Deity that you think I should reach out to for my specific predicament, I’m interested in Gaelic and Hellenic.
This isn’t my first time coming to paganism, it just feels comfortable to me? I am afraid that it will make God mad at me or offend him, which is not what I want

Questions from a Christian questioning universalism

I’ve been a Christian all my life, for the last few years I have been a “hopeful universalist” but never really looked into why people believe in it or the types of beliefs.

  1. What “type” of universalist are you? & why?

  2. What fully convinced you / made it click for you?

  3. What is the point of getting saved in life if all are eventually saved?/ what is the difference between those who are saved in life vs those who never believed in life?

  4. What are believers saved from? A lot of Christians say “saved from hell” or “God’s wrath” but what do you believe about this?

  5. Will Satan and his angels eventually be saved too?

  6. What denomination/ theology are you?

  7. Any resources (books, podcasts, yt channels) you could recommend?

I hope to learn more about universalism, i believe it glorifies God much more than ECT or Annihilationism. Thank you for your answer!
