I don't have any friends to share my pain with, so I'm sharing it with you all.
I'm a 20M second-year undergrad and a day scholar. Things at home have become unbearable.
My father (55) doesn't smoke or drink, but he gets angry over very small things. He frequently starts arguments with my mother (43), verbally abuses her, and has also been physically abusive towards her. I constantly worry about her safety. I don't feel safe or at peace in this house anymore.
I've thought about moving into my college hostel, but if I leave, there will be no one at home to help or protect my mother when things get bad. I feel guilty even thinking about leaving her behind. My little brother is only 10 years old, and I worry about him too.
My father has also attempted suicide in the past. One of my biggest fears is that if he ever attempts it again and dies, his side of the family might try to blame or falsely accuse my mother and me. I'm terrified of ending up in legal trouble for something we didn't do.
I'm also afraid that one day he might seriously harm or even kill us during one of his outbursts. I don't want to die. I just want to live peacefully with my mother and my little brother.
I don't have any relatives or another place where I can stay. I feel completely trapped between wanting to escape this environment and wanting to make sure my mother and brother are safe.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What would you do? Are there any resources or options for students who are dealing with domestic violence at home?
Any advice would mean a lot. Thank you for reading.

7-day free trial didn't activate after UPI AutoPay verification (India)
Hi everyone,
I'm trying Crunchyroll Premium for the first time and signed up for the 7-day free trial through the Android app using Google Play + BHIM UPI AutoPay.
Here's what happened:
₹1 was deducted as a verification charge.
A ₹99 UPI AutoPay mandate was created successfully.
However, the ₹99 hasn't been charged.
Crunchyroll still shows my membership as Free.
It's been about 24 hours since I tried subscribing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a delay with Google Play/UPI AutoPay, or did the subscription fail?
Should I wait longer, or cancel the mandate and try again?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

University is NOT school. Mandatory uniforms for adult scholars invite public mockery and impose daily laundry penalties on hostel students.
DW guys scalable up to 2.5 m users we can makea achnge share it as much as possible , we need more attention ,post on insta twitter linkedin reddit and all but pleas i dont want this uniform crap
THE FALLACY OF UNIFORMITY
The claim that mandatory college uniforms eliminate class differences is a paternalistic myth.
Here is the reality on the ground:
Digital Mockery: Forcing legal adults into school-level attire subjects university students to online ridicule, creating a genuine sense of collective inferiority.
Economic Equivalence: Decent, comfortable everyday wear can be purchased and maintained for the same cost—if not less—than a proprietary uniform.
Hostel Realities: Hostel students with limited laundry infrastructure are forced into daily washing cycles under threat of academic penalty, creating unnecessary day-to-day stress.
Our colleges are spaces for critical research and placement drives, not high school assemblies. We are scholars, not schoolchildren.
