How come supernatural isn’t taken as seriously or became a smash hit?

Whenever I see supernatural brought up in other subs they usually describe it as cheesy or guilty pleasure tv compared to others the walking dead, the wire or breaking bad which are described as quality tv. While the show has a dedicated fanbase I’m surprised it never became a cultural phenomenon back in the 2000s why is that is it cause of the channel it was on?

How do you Guys feel about guy busick and James Vanderbilt not coming back as writers for 8?

Are you happy about or sad about it? Personally I’m kind of glad I feel like they let their fanboyness for nostalgia of the Wes era along with trying to please everyone between the old and new generation of fans get in the way of trying to tell their own unique story’s that could stand on their own and not feel like modern remakes of the trilogy and 4. I do feel bad for them though considering they had to rewrite scream 6 and 7 scripts all over again and apparently it cost alot of money to do that.

Which side characters stands out the most to you between 5-7?

To me Scott and Madison I know they played the typical annoyed girlfriend who doesn’t like horror movies and geeky/nerdy boyfriend archetypes but I found them charming.

How come fans seem to resonate more with dedicated side A/B compared to the loneliest/Loneliest times?

Excluding Emotion for this but when it comes to the time albums I never see fans talk about them as much compared to the dedicated ones why is that?

How do you guys feel about Disney animation studios doing sequels?

I don’t really like it especially when the studio only releases 1 movie a year and a sequel has taken the spot of what could’ve been an og film like that Rumored Persian princess movie being replaced by Moana 2, It sucks Disney toon studios got shut down cause that was where most of the sequel’s went to while WDAS focused on og films.

How do you guys feel about these 3 getting another movie?

The fanbases from these franchises seem pretty cynical at the moment due to season 3 of Chucky, Halloween ends and, scream 7 not meeting expectations and just being poorly received. Personally I think they all have potential to make a great film and bounce back.

What are some of the rumors from 5-7 you remember reading about that did not happen before the movies came out?

I think was around late 2024 but I remember rumors going around that Tatum was to have a more rebellious personality and wants to prove to her parents that she could take care of herself along with sneaking into Ben’s room and trying to get him to have sex. Honestly that would’ve been a nice gender swamp twist instead of repeating the first movie,

How come the space setting is always made fun of in slasher franchises?

I always wondered that Is it cause of Jason x? Like I always see comments like Ghostface in space or Chucky in space after traveling through different city’s and places in past sequels but the concept is never taken as seriously or seen as cool compared to a snow setting .

Do you guys wish we had gotten glen kene darker pitch for tangled or are you happy with what we got?

Originally titled Rapunzel the movie was darker with Rapunzel being more meek/quiet and having a crossbow for a weapon, Flyn was originally bastion A big bulky kristoff looking fella, the reason why this movie didn’t happen was cause glen had a heart attack and Rapunzel wouldn’t have left her tower till the last act and they where afraid audiences wouldn’t have been as invested in the story. There’s storyboards and concept art out there of it some really cool stuff.

Which direct to video sequels do you enjoy even though the storyline isn’t that great?

Lady and the tramp 2 I remember really loving it as a kid even though the storyline is basically the same as little mermaid 2 lol but it’s still a fun watch.

What are some early concepts from the Disney animated canon films you wish they had kept?

Cruella de Vil as the villain in the rescuers she was originally considered at one point during production wearing an alligator 🐊skin coat but the producers didn’t like the idea of someone else animating her that wasn’t marc davis and just weren’t interested in spin off/sequels at the time. I think she would’ve made that movie more memorable compared to Medusa who was just a trashy version of cruellia with not much of a standout personality.

Are you guys disappointed that some of the og concepts for the sequels didn’t work out?

Or are you happy with what we ended up getting? 3-7 except 5 had a lot of behind the scene’s drama that caused a shift in what the creators originally wanted to do Like a gf cult, Sid vs gf opening, Jill getting away with her murder spree, a gale focused movie along with Sid’s weeding, Sam possibly turning into gf. Lots of interesting ideas that sounded like it would’ve pushed the characters and franchise forward instead of repeating itself. I’m ok with what we have but it does make you wonder what could’ve been you know.

A guy I’ve been talking to for a few months now wanted to meet up last Saturday but he never got back to me and left me hanging lol I told him I wasn’t into anal and just oral and he said it’s all fine and good but I think that’s what probably turned him off. How about you guys ever been ghosted.

Would you guys have liked to have seen a Shrek origin movie?

Originally Shrek story was supposed to stretch out to 5 films ending in 2013 but after 3 flopped Jeffrey Katzenberg cancelled it and made 4 the finale chapter until now at least lol. Either 4 or 5 would’ve explored his origins I always wanted Shrek side of his family and other ogres (not from an alternate timeline) so I think it would’ve been cool to see even if prequel story’s aren’t the best.

Do you guys think Disney animation will ever have another successful streak of great films again?

For the past decade since Moana their movies have been pretty half baked and safe except for Encanto. From the writing to the animation it’s sad to see the studio that started it all struggling compared to Sony, dreamworks, Illumination and, their sister studio Pixar all blowing the studio out of the water.

How come the show seems to appeal more to the female demographic than the males?

Something I’ve noticed is Whenever supernatural is brought up or talked about it’s usually by girls and barely any guys seem to talk about the show why is that?

Movie Franchises that you love but also find frustrating with each new installment and why?

The scream franchise i love first four movies even if 3 is the weakest one but these newer installments 5-7 have way too much going on. Still trying to connect to the og film Billy/stu even though it’s been 30 years at this point when they didn’t need to, too many characters to juggle around, main characters running around just fine after being stabbed, Rush pacing and, yet after all that I’m still interested in 8 I just hope for a tighter script lol.

Do you guys still want Patrick Dempsey mark Kincaid to come back?

Even if he’s not married to Sid? I was excited at thought of them being together as a couple after 25 years and was disappointed he wasn’t returning but I thought Joel Michale did well and the character got great feedback from fans.
