How come Stage 3 and 4 in Touhou Lotus land story are huge difficulty spikes?

You see, the first two stages of Lotus land story are pretty easy. Then stage 3 comes in. The stage itself is not that bad, But the boss Elly is very hard for me. The first phase is a challenge for me, and the second phase trips me up sometimes, So i end up blowing a lot of lives in this boss, and then maybe I beat her. Then I barely got any lives for stage 4, which seems to go on forever. Both the stage and the boss are tough. This is the farthest, I ever got in Lotus land story. I did make it to Marisa, but I couldn't react to her attacks and lost all my lives. (Also how come at the start of stage 3's boss, it seems like my attacks don't do anything to Elly for a bit?)

How do u guys feel about the Touhou games?

Honestly, I like these games, I played a bit of the first game and did not click with it, it's like a mix of breakout and a tiny bit of touhou, I gave up at the eye boss.

Touhou 2 is like a prototype to the modern touhou fourmula.

Touhou 3 is kinda weird, Its like you're trying to get more points than your opponent, and you can like charge attacks and stuff.

Touhou 4 and 5 are really close to the Touhou fourmula we know know and i got very far in Touhou 5.

Now Touhou 6 is where the series finds it's footing, I really like this one and I think I will start with this one as a beginner.

Touhou 7, It's really good. In fact I beat a Touhou nes demake of this game called Touhou Old Cherry tree dream.

I have not played the rest of the touhou games.

So how do u feel about The Touhou games?

Edit: I beat Touhou one and got the bad ending. Recorded the whole thing too

How do u guys feel about Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil?

Now I say this game is a big step up from the last game, We got full 3d models and this game is stunning, I'm only in the first Vision, but The atmosphere is awesome, its like a Shipwreck. I also like the new characters Lolo and Popka, I'm sure they will be very important later. Anyway how do u feel about Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil? (I hope there will be a Klonoa 3, but i doubt it will happen.) (But hey we can hope it can happen.)

How do u feel about Klonoa: Door to Phantomile?

It's my first time playing this game and i'm impressed, first the cutscenes look very good for the Ps1, and the music is nice. I don't know what the clocks do, but i do now I have to collect these 6 um friends? I like this game's visual style, it's like a storybook. Anyway How do u feel about Klonoa- Door to Phantomile? (I played the ps1 version) (Also how long is this game to beat or 100 percent in one sitting?) I also like that its 2.5d. (Why is this game so expensive?) (who could Ghadius be? Im sure he is a king that got corrupted by evil.)

I'm also playing the game with retroachievements.

I'm struggling with the first boss.

Don't spoil the ending for me!
