The best thing any adult can do, is accept themselves flaws and all.
Every adult is so special, it probably feels the opposite, and like you do not fit in. Because as children and guided through schools, we were all sort of forced into groups, once you become and adult, it's a shocking change. But if I could pass on one thing, it would be to like yourself a lot sooner. Do no measure yourself by your so-called flaws, or differences, measure yourself by your amazing traits and talents. We all have them. Some people are good w/ animals, children, art, science, knowing computers, music, dance, sign language, etc. All of those things are everyone's special gifts. And those make up the reason you are here. If you listen to that and accept yourself, you will go where you fit in.
The feelings we bury inside us, fester until we resolve them, and don't let them have a hold on us any more.
The best thing you can ever admit is that you outgrew someone, and it's OK.
Not everyone evolves with you, and you have friends or loved ones that don't get where you are going. But it's ok to outgrow the way they still want to live, and to not keep you there the way they want. Tell yourself you outgrew this routine and go where the new things you are seeking feel more like a fit for your soul.
Moving our mindsets from chaos to calm - I used to do too much and boggle my own mind, took me decades to discover calm.
Not sure if anyone else had this happen, but I carried my problems, friend's problems, family problems, and work problems in my brain. Let's say I was born without a sifter to break it all done. As I became older, I could no longer hold this much, and it also was not good for me. I had to teach myself how to not carry everyone, and to make myself a priority. Fix my own self and my own life. And its way better, but I only got here in my 60's, I hope for everyone that they learn this sooner. We are still great people - not carrying everyone's lives in our hands. Give yourself permission to let go.
This message is so important - the lucky get to sit with you still, the rest - let them go without you
It's better to have a few people at a table, then a full table and never be heard, or helped.
It took me a long time to create a home that was peaceful, and where I flourished instead of was worn down.
Healing yourself is the best gift you can ever give yourself, but it will not sit right with everyone
There are people that are dependent on you staying the same, so they never have to face what is ailing them.
Jimmy Buffett - Making our attitude match our goals
Alone time when you are living in peace is everything, it means you conquered the false idea that staying in crowds who don't get you is not the right thing for your soul
We grow from things we have to overcome. We become super strong, and able, a part of us never knew it was in there. Keep growing
When People's needs are unmet, they become unquenchable for desire to be seen
If kid's needs are ignored, that child grows up, and wants to be seen and heard. And sometimes without boundaries, they will proceed to be visible. This is what fake likes, and clicks are all about - fake visibility. Some of the people with the most followers are the loneliest, because it's not a measure of person's real identity. What matters is to heal from the inside. Cry for that child that was not seen, or heard, and mourn that same child. And then become what you were missing. Save another child by seeing them, and hearing them. Then you not only create a happier child, but you create your own 2nd childhood. Go to the swings, go on rides, walk in the sand, with that child, and you get to see what joy it is to be visible and loved. And you start healing your own soul.
We tend to think that when things don't work out as planned, we missed out, we actually were spared of other things we could not foresee.
When we remove our own selves from repeated discomfort of people that don't value our worth, we create a space of recovery
We have to end some connections, because it is a pattern etched in stone. Tell yourself, not everyone gets to stay in your presence - you outgrow them and see a future of peace of mind.
We teach people how to treat us, teach people kindness
When we put boundaries around our tolerance, and don't allow for people to mistreat us, we send the clear message to living well. Take the high road, and lead others by example, teach kindness, and 0 bullying. When we tell others that we know our worth, they don't get as much room to put out negative vibes.
Find a way to give negative people less space in your mind
We can carry something negative for too long, give it too much weight. It's so important to find powerful strong voices that support you, and they need to be what you keep in your mind, not negative things that "someone said". Empty that out, and do not let it bog you down.
Believe in more, it's there, and knowing you can grasp it is a reason to go get it.
Once you believe you can achieve more, it's there, and falls into place. More is not measured in terms of just money or material things, more = more that aligns with your soul. Never give up on trying to get it for yourself.
Once you decide to hear your own needs, and to move away from someone selfish, you become like a butterfly w/ wings
I never heard my own cries. I let someone else dominate my choices. I grew, and I finally outgrew someone, forced myself to let go, and let go of the fairytale that I kept holding onto. There was no fairytale, just the wrong life. I outgrew the person who wanted to live on the same stage for life. And when I faced that I outgrew this life, I found freedom and got to my own dreams. My wish for others, is that they hear this, and do it sooner than I did. You get more time on earth to live as you were meant to. Do it sooner!!!! And trust yourself.
We are tested so many times, all through life, but our setbacks should never define us. Keep trying anyway and step right over your obstacles
Our senses sometimes tell us way before it's going to break - that we are needing to change the plan - listen to that
Walking away is when you know and act on that, rather than wait for it to break.
