The difference between national highways located at Kasaragod and mangalore has huge difference.
"What is stopping highways in Karnataka from looking like Kerala highways? Both are built by NHAI and but the difference is huge. The worst part is near Nantoor Junction and KPT Junction; a minimum of 5 minutes is wasted due to these junctions."

New railway station opening soon in Mangalore (padil)
The motive of this railway station is to divert the train comming from banglore side to Mumbai side without have to stop in manglore (junction) or manglore (central) . Before it was used to divert only goods train now it will open for passanger train as well. The roads are been constructed if will connect to kurshekara side.
